Absolutely perfect. Thank you so much to Annabel for listening and giving us exactly what we wanted on the day - a simple beautiful wedding. And thank you to Gwen too for some absolutely fabulous pictures. The team at Lake Garda Weddings were all fantastic from start to finish. With having to cancel our original date in May due to COVID we were lucky enough to get another date in September.

I cannot stress how good Annabel was at taking on board what we wanted from the day and delivering it. I fear I may have been her first Groomzilla :) but after so much heartache with original dates it was one of the most perfect days in my life on the day.

The little extras like the tuk tuk wedding car and boat trip made a special day even more memorable. La Voglia restaurant for the reception was fantastic. All of our friends were blown away by the quality of the food and the beauty of Malcesine.

The ceremony itself was also very personal for a civil ceremony and we felt very welcomed by all the people of Malcesine.

Will pop in and say hi to the team when we return to Malcesine which we certainly will.

Our experience with Lake Garda weddings was just fantastic! Anyone who is thinking about getting married in Lake Garda are in safe hands with this team of amazing ladies! They made planning one of the most important days of our lives stress free and enjoyable. Even though we were organizing everything from Ireland nothing went amiss,absolutely everything was taken care of.Our planner Deborah and our photographer Gwen were both so lovely and really put us at ease from the very beginning.Deborah took care of us & all our guests so well for the whole day and when we got home and went through the pictures Gwen took they blew us away,so beautiful! We started planning our wedding in 2019 and booked with Lake Garda Weddings for June 2020. We had to cancel twice because of COVID but throughout all of that, LGWs were fantastic and so accommodating in allowing us to rearrange everything. We finally had our day two weeks ago and it was beyond all our expectations. Annabel and Gwen are absolutely amazing at what they do.

Everything was perfect - the flowers, the reception, the boat trip, the ceremony, hair and make up etc. We had the most incredible day. We were both a little worried about the photographs but Gwen made us feel so relaxed and they’re the most beautiful photos of us all! Thank you so much. Lake Garda and Malcesine are so beautiful - I don’t think photos can do it justice! We can’t wait to return sometime soon x

The Lake Garda Weddings team have been absolutely amazing from start to finish. From our initial enquiry with them to the big day itself and the follow up afterwards, their service has been faultless. They have been prompt on responding to our queries and once we arrived in Malcesine we were blown away by how thorough the welcome meeting was. As for the big day itself all we can say is wow. On our wedding day we were blessed with the ever changing unpredictable weather, however after all our initial weather worries this did not impact our day at all, the team had contingency plans for every eventuality and the day ran without a hiccup it was seamless. I would say the weather only added to the day and ended up with us having a few added bonuses. Our guests have since complimented the professionalism and high standards of the team. A massive thank you to Gwen, Christina and Deborah. I wish we could do it all again.

Where to begin....from the first enquiry right down to the last hour LGW were a wonderful support and took the pressure off the planning of a wedding. They answered every email query swiftly and informatively. They worked with us to allow us to use other services such as a wedding cake and piper. Christina even remembered that I didn't drink wine and got me a flavoured gin on the day to go with my meal. It sounds silly but it's the small things that count and take you by surprise.

The explanations for both document procedure and our walk around the day before the wedding provided us with reassurance and it was a wonderful day all in for both us and the guests. Would highly recommend using Lake Garda Weddings to plan and organise your dream wedding in such a beautiful location.

Lake Garda Weddings were amazing from start to finish! With getting married in a different country, it’s hard to organise a wedding due to not being able to visit the venue or see any restaurants, florists etc. All the staff at Lake Garda Weddings answered all of the questions we had, sent us options with photos so we could see what we we wanted. They organised everything and everything ran so smoothly on the day. It was a magical day and Malcesine is such a beautiful place!

From initial communication, planning over 12 months, immediate wedding run up, the day itself, photographs all the way up to the post-wedding follow up, the team at Lake Garda Weddings were SUPERB!

We didn’t visit Italy whilst planning the wedding but Gwen, Deborah and Annabel made the planning process simple. The team are so knowledge and make sure the day is exactly what you hope it to be. We were provided with so many options to make our ceremony perfect and the team go above and beyond to help you with the more personalised touches.

Meeting Deborah a few days before the wedding was a pleasure. We spoke through the final arrangements, dealt with the legals and Deborah talked us through the timings of the wedding. We felt so at ease following the meeting that we could relax in the sun in the run up to our wedding. We also text Deborah with a few questions the night before the wedding and she went above and beyond to assist us.

The day itself was spectacular! The timings worked perfectly. The ceremony was magical. Gwen was a fantastic photographer. Deborah was amazing at dealing with logistics. The ladies at the salon who did our hair and make up were so skilled, we all felt amazing.

We had a private reception at Paradiso Perduto after the 5pm ceremony and it was perfect. Our guests commented to say the best wedding food they had ever had. The backdrop was stunning and the night ended with a bang in the form of thunder and lightening which caused some excitement but we were still able to stay out and keep dry under the gazebo.

I couldn’t recommend Gwens photography any more. We felt at ease, had a laugh and received the most stunning photos before our flight home a few days after the wedding.

When we think back to our wedding, we will always think of LGW fondly. Our day was made perfection by the team and we will be forever grateful. There is so much I have missed in this review but if you are considering using LGW, then you will not regret it!

After a difficult year of uncertainty for everyone, we are so happy we were able to get married and even more happy our friends and family could be there with us in the most stunning and beautiful place.
We visited Malcesine for a couple of hours in April 2019 while on holiday with friends. After our appointment with Deborah we just knew this was ‘the’ place!
Past reviews told us not to worry, these ladies are experts in their field. Nothing is too much of an ask, nothing is without the closest attention to detail.
They work with and source such wonderful local suppliers. From the hairdresser and make up artist, to the Lakeside toast at La Pace and the wonderful setting, food and service at La Voglia - nothing was less than perfect.
We also took their recommendations for James the Videographer and Nick the Piper who we arranged as a surprise for Gavin - also excellent secret keepers!
Our guests not only had an amazing few days on holiday in Malcesine, but said our day was one they will always remember and cherish, and we know many want to return here.

From a year some may have wished away, I would happily relive our wedding week again and again.

Gwen the photos are just amazing, you have effortlessly put our memories into pictures we can keep forever.

We had the most perfect wedding day in beautiful Malcesine in September 2022 and we have Lake Garda Weddings to thank!

We felt at ease and reassured from start to finish. Annabel, Deborah and Gwen were so friendly, professional and helpful when it came to planning everything. On the day Deborah couldn’t do enough to make sure everything ran smoothly and we could just enjoy our day with our loved ones.

WOW! Where do we begin. Our lovely wedding day was planned meticulously by Deborah. From our first enquiry, right until the big day, Deborah, was on hand to guide us through the whole process. As we are based in the UK we were worried that the legal process would be stressful but the team guided us through each step and it was seamless. The venue and town are absolutely beautiful. The pictures will never do it justice. We are so happy that we chose Malcesine castle. We had a small worry of rain after having a few days of showers. They even had a back up plan for that, just in case and thankfully we didn't have to use it. The flowers from the florist were amazing and really pulled our dream together. I was very particular about how I visioned them and was blown away on the day. We opted for the string quartet which was a magic touch. They have a wide selection of songs to choose from and If your song isn't on the list they are happy to take requests. Our guests loved it and they really set the atmosphere for the whole day. We then chose to travel by boat to La Voglia (our reception venue). This is an absolute must. Such a cool experience to have, especially with family and friends. The locals will cheer you on and make you feel like a celebrity. On our arrival to La Voglia, we were greeted with welcome drinks and nibbles. There was a particular dip that went down extremely well and I need the recipe for. Its a perfect view of the lake and has a real nice atmosphere. Once again, Deborah had out done herself as she had organised our tables to perfection. Again, as we are based in the UK we actually had a few bits shipped over directly to the team through amazon, which was no hassle at all. The food is INSANE! There are many options to choose from and they are really accommodating for all dietary requirements. For pudding the dark chocolate volcano is a must. Its a beautiful melt in the middle pudding and every plate was left empty. Our wedding cake was one of the best cakes we have ever had and far from the typical weddings cake you often see. It was decorated to perfection, super light and fresh and any that is left over you can take home, if there is any left. The DJ and sax really set a great vibe for the evening. Its 100% worth paying the difference to have the Sax. We were again, quite specific on the songs we wanted and didn't want. He hit it out the park. He is also open to requests through the night. We had a very special moment with my now in laws. They were dancing to a song that was very sentimental to them. Without even asking, the Sax player went down and serenaded them. There wasn't a dry eye in our wedding party and this is such a special memory that we will treasure forever. If you aren't yet convinced to plan your wedding with Lake garda weddings. Just do it! They are truly the best and we would not change a single thing about our day. We cant wait to go back and will visit the team when we do. They also were such a special part of our wedding journey and we cant thank them enough!

We had always hoped for a wedding abroad that was stress-free and Lake Garda Weddings literally made all of our dreams come true, and more! Communication was amazing via email and the ladies were able to meet every single one of our requests. On the day before the wedding, Deborah took us to Malcesine Castle and spoke to us about the process of the day which put our minds at ease. Our ceremony felt so personal with Elena and Deborah conducting/translating the ceremony. We are incredibly grateful to Lake Garda Weddings, they are INCREDIBLE. Lake Garda weddings are a fabulous team and they really made our small but intimate wedding magical! They are very attentive and always open to helping in anyway they can. We had never visited Malcesine before getting married but we had the utmost confidence that it would be fabulous with the care and time that of lake Garda weddings took for our special day. They took very special care over our needs for example, they made sure our guests with severe allergies were catered for and also settling our nerves over sorting out the legal documents required for marriage in Italy. We could not recommend them enough and if you choose to get married in Malcesine you will have the most stunning setting for your special day! It’s difficult to give Lake Garda Weddings the justice they deserve in this review. From starting the process almost 3 years ago, all the staff we dealt with went over and above to help us arrange our special day. They provided detailed paperwork and were always on hand to respond to emails quickly. We visited and were given a lovely tour and felt at ease throughout the entire process of wedding planning, which can be quite stressful. Deborah made our wedding day so special and did everything she could to make sure it went like clockwork, it felt like she was celebrating with us and there was absolutely nothing for us to worry about. We chose LGW and Malcesine castle for the ideal location for a relaxed elopement, and it was absolutely the right decision for us. Gwen and Deborah looked after us throughout the process of planning the day, managing all of the aspects for our very personal day. When we first got engaged we always knew we wanted to get married abroad but did not have a clue how to go about organising everything. We found Malcesine and fell in love, it is the most beautiful and charming place.

I was quite nervous about arranging our wedding online via wedding planners that we hadn't met. Having come across lake garda weddings online and contacting them, we instantly felt reassured that our wedding was in very safe hands.

Annabel and Gwen were so lovely, they provide so much information about all of your options for your wedding day and give great advice, making sure you and your guests have the best day ever.

Having managed to get married in the middle of the COVID pandemic, we were very lucky to have the ladies at LGW to hand to keep us up to date and reassure us throughout, making the situation less stressful for sure!

On our wedding day everything ran seamlessly. Annabel was with us for the entire day, looking after us and our guests, making sure we weren't bothered with any queries throughout the day so we could relax and enjoy ourselves, she was brilliant! For a couple who are not fans of having our photo taken, Gwen made us feel so comfortable we had such a good time, and the photos are amazing! Thank you Gwen!
