Hi, if you are a tourist and you are in Ortona. Here's what to consider.
Do you want to eat dinner the italian way but have something different than Pizza or your usual daily food?
Well than this is where you want to eat! Take a Panini with fillings like salami's and other dried meats or tuna, different salads, starters, different types of bread possible, they are a full delicious meal.

But above all it's also a place to taste the different dried meats and cheeses on a platter... for two persons, for one person, all possible. This is heaven on a platter and in your glass, I sh*t you not! Have a coctail to start with, ask for info.
Have the waiter present you the selective wines, of all prices, cheap and expensive ones. Yes they have also good beers here!
This is above all a Hostaria/Enoteca with the highest quality of artisanal selected foods.
Your perfect dinner plan in Ortona if you want something really special for a medium price, you can make it as expensive as you want, or as cheap as you want, however, you want to have the full experience. Advice: Reserve your spots! Especially in the weekend and for groups.

Ow, btw I am Belgian/Italian, born and raised in Belgium, but I have relatives who live in and around Ortona. Awesome place. One of my favourites from around the world.

It is a good place to have a couple of glasses of wine and have a good talk and appetizers with some friends or even alone. It is not too loud, so it is easy to talk, even though there is always good music going on.

Very friendly staff, great selection of cheese and Charcuterie, interesting wine list.

Cibo ottimo e ben curato (soprattutto il tagliere di formaggi). Il gin tonic fantastico con diversa scelta di gic (secchi o aromatici). Propone anche piatti vegetariani!

Prodotti buoni e freschi, prezzi corretti (40 euro in 2). Capitati li durante il maltempo, il personale ha gestito al meglio la situazione dei tavoli all'aperto senza creare disagi e senza creare problemi al servizio agli altri tavoli.

Abbiamo mangiato bene, bevuto ancora meglio, con gli ottimi consigli sul vino da scegliere dati dal personale.

Ottimo aperitivo/pranzo con un tagliere di formaggi e focaccia vegetariana. Tutto ben curato e di qualità. Ottimi anche i drink che abbiamo scelto. Prezzo un po’ elevato ma giustificato dalla ottima qualità e ricercatezza dei formaggi e dall’abbondanza della focaccia, super farcita!

Trovato per caso, di passaggio, focacce farcite buonissime, per niente unte, croccantissime, abbondanti ..con ingredienti di ottima qualità, personale gentilissimo e veloce. Enoteca fornitissima.

Un luogo raccolto e curato, servizio eccellente con una straordinaria ragazza che ci ha servito al tavolo spiegandoci ogni singolo ingrediente con una preparazione pari a quella di Alberto Angela sull'antica Roma... sono rimasto davvero affascinato. Il cibo è solo di prima scelta e i prodotti del luogo non mentono mai al palato cosi come gli ottimi vini. Straconsigliato soprattutto se siete di palato fine

Focacce abbondanti ed ottime, si consiglia di provare quella con il roast beef di angus.
Ottima anche la birra artigianale.
