While staying in Vernazza, I hoped to find a market to buy some basics, plus fresh produce. The supermarket down the street was always bombarded with people and had really sad looking fruits & veggies. This little shop became my saving grace. I was able to buy some beautiful peaches and a nice mix of greens and veg for a salad. They also have a deli section with cheese and charcuterie, and some wine so you can make a nice aperitivo at home.

I could see how the couple that runs this shop would be exasperated with all the people coming through their tiny space, many touching things but not seriously looking to buy. I found them to be perfectly helpful (ask for help when you buy produce) and efficient.

Cash only.
They are open in the morning and evening, but close for lunch (until about 5:30pm).

Avoid. The woman working is the most belittling and rude person I have come across. Made my partner feel like dirt because he chose a drink from the fridge and while opening it to get this drink ‘affected the temperature’ of it. Zero customer service.

They tried to charge us €3.40 for a peach because we touched it rather than getting the store hand to get it for us - then when we asked to get it removed from our final order they wouldn’t let us buy anything else until we paid for the peach… we didn’t buy anything and walked out!

The rudest saleswoman I have come across in my life. Please avoid at all costs.

STARE ALLA LARGA. Scortesi e fuorilegge: si rifiutano tassativamente di farti pagare con la carta sotto i 10€. Hanno preferito mandarmi via a insulti piuttosto che farmi pagare con la carta.

De evitat! Deși este printre putinele magazine din Vernazza, va recomand sa nu mergeți!

Pentru felul cum ești tratat de către doamna care vinde la tejghea!
Domnul este mai amabil dar ea este ceva ce îmi aduce aminte de vânzătoarele de la Gostat de pe vremurile lui Ceaușescu și care se credeau buricul pământului deși ele ( majoritatea) erau niște agramate!
Nu voi mai calca niciodată in acea locație!

Persone molto scortesi, Prezzi alti, pagamenti meno di 10€ solo in contanti, pessima esperienza!!!!
