Malleus is the first word in quality when it comes to swords for historical fencing. Meticulously researched and finished with attention to details, they are an absolute joy to wield! Cannot recommend them enough.

Beyond that, the passion that from the Malleus team bleeds over in to everything they do from customer service to packing. All around a wonderful company to deal with.

I've dealt with Sergio the last couple times I ordered swords from Malleus and the customer support/ordering experience is fantastic. The swords Malleus makes are all great quality and you can tell there is a great attention to detail in their crafting. Would recommend purchasing one of their swords without a second thought.

I (finally) ordered a pair of sideswords from their in-stock catalogue. I've bought training equipment from most of the prominent businesses making it for HEMA, and the fit, finish and attention to detail in Malleus Martialis's swords are second to none. The swords move as beautifully as they look, and while I haven't been able to use them in a sparring context yet because of the pandemic, there are plenty of people out there who can attest to their long-term durability.
But I really want to single out MM's customer service. I'm a frustrating customer to deal with. I waffle and go back and forth and it will take far too many emails for me to finally settle on what I'm going to buy. Throughout all of my nonsense, MM was nothing but polite, helpful, responsive, pleasant and even excited to help make sure I got exactly what I wanted.
There are other manufacturers I've recommended to people based on their needs, but always with a "but" or a caveat of some kind. MM is the only company producing HEMA gear that I recommend wholeheartedly and without reservation.
