I visited with a group of 14 for a wine dinner. We enjoyed our dinner and the wines we tasted. I like that the vineyard and the winery is woman owned as the farm was passed down two generations so far. The Barbera family do not use chemicals in their vineyard and the area is fertile and clean.

WOW!!! I just brought a group of friends from Colorado to visit Sicily. We had the most spectacular wine tasting with Marilena (the owner & wine maker) of Cantine Barbera. The passion of the wine maker for her territory shows in her enthusiasm as well as in each bottle of wine. I highly recommend a visit and the wines....The hand crafted Ciatu and Ammano are among my favorites. Great job Cantine Barbera, we will be back.

Quando conosci Marilena Barbera non puoi fare a meno che innamorarti del suo vino, dentro il calice non trovi solo la cartolina del territorio, ma trovi anche la passione, la voglia, la conoscenza e la curiosità. Piccola cantina gestita in famiglia con prodotti di grande qualità e completamente a fuoco con la filosofia aziendale. Consigliata!

Super nette Begrüßung und kleine Einführung in die verschiedenen Weine,. Danach konnten wir zwei Weine probieren, welche uns beide überzeugten. Vor allem der Merlot ein echter Knaller.
