I was looking for a venue as I had a business trip in the area. However because it was during the holidays I also wanted somewhere that was nice and somewhere where my partner and I could enjoy together. Blue Paloma was the perfect spot. Andrea, Mark and the entire team were welcoming and provided excellent customer service. The ambiance and general aesthetique of the villa was amazing. The food was good and I really couldn't have asked for anything more. It was a great stay and I would recommend!

Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast is truly a five star vacation destination in Lucea that provides an intimate atmosphere with grand customer service. It’s definitely on my short list of places to stay in Jamaica!!

My daughter and I spent 4 days at the beautiful Blue Paloma. We were provided wrap around airport service. The room was spacious, comfortable and relaxing with a outdoor balcony leading to the pool and outdoor grounds, which we enjoyed privately, at times, without the resort crowds. The chef freshly prepared 2 delicious authentic Jamaican meals for us, per day. We enjoyed a three course breakfast that could really keep you going all day and a wonderful dinner, all served family style. Fresh produce from the grounds and locally sourced. The other guests were Jamaicans traveling on holiday from across the island or from abroad. I was able to learn so much about the culture, foods and traditions of the island in this relaxed family atmosphere. We even had game and movie nights. The wonderful host Andrea and caretakers were all full information and able to help facilitate our island excursions. Our experience was much more than a typical tourist vacation, it felt personal. Then when I had an extra night layover, they went over and beyond to make sure I was fully taken care of. A shout-out to Dino for being such a great escort. I look forward to going back and staying at their new property, still in construction, Blue Paloma on the sea!

Where do I start,from the pick up from the airport to the day we left I was in a awe!! This by far has been the best vacation I've had in a long time. The staff, the cleanliness, the food( and I am a very picky eater) Andrea made our stay feel like home, and we were family. Everyone was so professional and friendly. Andrea educated us on the Jamaican culture and took us on the tour of the city which I enjoyed the most looking at the view of the city. I most definitely have a new vacation spot. I told my siblings about it and we r all planning to book next year at the Blue Plamona 2 when it's up and running! I can't wait to come back. Andrea see u soon. The property is very well thought through , given a very local touch and is very well maintained. Andrea, who is the owner has done a fabulous job with both interior and exteriors. the property is very clean, spacious and welcoming. we enjoyed the stay as the B&B host were very welcoming and made us feel at home. If one is looking for a real feel of Jamica , one needs to look at staying at places such as Blue Paloma. the breakfast is local Jamaican breakfast that is freshly made by the cool very morning with nice fresh juices. The team is very well organized , friendly , accommodative and warm. Our dietary restrictions were noted and food was customized to it. The swimming pool hours were extended for us. we were offered fresh coconut water and also the seasonal drinks. The host had family visiting for the holidays and the family members were very welcoming and we felt like we were part of the family during our stay. Overall, this is a fabulous place and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit. thanks to Andrea, Mark and the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable

If I could give this place a 10/10 I would. My family and I enjoyed our wonderful 5 night stay at BP. Andrea and the ENTIRE staff is so warm and welcoming. The rooms are amazing and we couldn't stop talking about how we all just felt like we were at home. The breakfast in the morning is UNREAL, everything is so fresh (shoutout to the incredible chef). Andrea is by far the kindest yet reasonable human I have ever met, she really did go ABOVE and BEYOND for my entire family to coordinating everything from private dinners to transportation. Her communication is TOPNOTCH! I truly can't thank her enough for everything she has done for us. I'm looking forward to coming back and staying for an entire month (that's how ridiculously amazing this place is).

The Blue Paloma B&B is a wonderful stay & I’d do it again and again I’ll defiantly be returning. The overall atmosphere is great you get an authentic experience of Jamaica with the town being in walking distance to enjoy the culture. The amenities are the best the pool the spa treatments the food fantastic. The host & staff were excellent very friendly & accommodating. The house is beautiful rooms are spacious & clean. I had a great time relaxing by the pool & lounge area with movie night & outside excursions planned by the host Andrea were the best. Defiantly recommend you stay here when you visit Jamaica. Easy to get around the town of Lucea and traveling distance to Negril or Montego Bay is easy to get too. Best 7 days on vacation

I had and enjoyed one of the best stay ever in Jamaica at the Blue Paloma. East Avenue Lucea Hanover
The food is delicious, all organic just say what you want, the staffs are friendly , honest and courteous. You felt safe. If you love to exercise, or long distance walk up the hill down the hill etc. this is the best place for you.
I enjoyed my early morning walk then straight to the beach. Oh the water is so warm and nice you don’t want to leave.
Excursions rest of the day canoeing /rafting on the Rio-Grande lots of fun to have.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Blue Paloma Bed and Breakfast in December 2021. It was a nice sweet well needed get away that we plan to repeat every year. We were welcomed with great hospitality, Andrea and Mark were so friendly and generous, as well as their staff. The facility was so clean and organized and the food is awesome. Also, Andrea & Mark helped us organize our excursion and provided other information needed to plan each day of our stay. I hope everyone can experience this wonderful place. The Blue Paloma exponentially exceeded my expectations. The place looked great upon booking, but it was even more amazing in person. The breakfast was delicious and Andrea was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Early in my trip Andrea recommended an ice cream place in town, and then on my last day, unbeknownst to me, she gave my cab driver money to buy us ice cream on our way back home!!!

There's nowhere else I would have rather stayed during my trip. Sounds like Blue Paloma #2 is currently being built and it will be on the water!

My first time in Jamaica and my stay at Blue Paloma has been very relaxing and fun. The costumer service is excellent, the environment is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the chef makes amazing food! The host is very welcoming and makes sure you are comfortable at all times. 10/10 Recommend and I can’t wait to plan another vacation to come back again! This is the place to stay!

Best trip for our 10th wedding anniversary! Fresh delicious local food served every morning. We opted for the dinner option and were pleased. Great room with a king sized bed, well appointed private bath, plenty of storage and patio entrance to the pool. I enjoyed the pool, the local beach and our excursions to Negril, Montego Bay and the South Coast. There is something new to discover in Jamaica with every visit. Andrea and the staff are wonderful. I really appreciate how Blue Paloma was able to have a cake available to celebrate our anniversary!

If you're looking for a place where you can connect with the locals, Blue paloma is the place to stay. The food is great, the staff are friendly and very helpful, the host and owner , well I'll just say she gets a 10 out of 10. She'll arrange your excursions and shopping trips and anything else that you might need. I go to Jamaica every year and that's the place I stay. The rates are great and house is beautifully kept. I visited the Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast in December 2021 for a week for a family getaway and it was wonderful. I felt that Blue Paloma offered an authentic Jamaican experience, and the accommodations were modern and very up to date with a comfortable king bed in a beautiful, decorated room with air condition, flat screen TV, and Wi-Fi. We made use of the pool, outside bar, massage area, and fitness room. We loved that it was just a few minutes walk from the local beaches, shopping, and Juicy Beef Patties store. The food at Blue Paloma was outstanding, thank you Dave - the chef. Andrea and Mark were very friendly and helpful with scheduling all our excursions. I’ve never been to a B&B before but this one definitely exceeded my expectations, they made it a wonderful experience and I will definitely be visiting Blue Paloma again.

I went to the Blue Paloma Bed and Breakfast in July, 2021 with a group of friends and family. Saying 'my experience there exceeded my expectations' is an understatement. The owners and their staff were so friendly and professional, it felt like I was meeting family for the first time. The bed and breakfast is breathtaking. Wood floors, comfortable beds, majestic views from the balconies and there's a pool on the premises. Oh, I cannot forget about the food. The food was fresh, local and delicious. We were asked what excursions we wanted to do and let me say I truly enjoyed them all. From the Appleton Estate Tour to Rick's Cafe to going to the beach, Blue Paloma Bed and Breakfast made my first visit to Jamaica memorable. I highly recommend Blue Paloma Bed and Breakfast if you decide to visit Jamaica.

For the holidays, my family and I spent our time in Lucea, Jamaica, the capital city of Hanover Parish. We stayed at a gem of a property, nestled in the hills of Lucea: The Blue Paloma Bed and Breakfast. A special welcome sign was prepared for us. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by our host, Andrea, who had refreshing drinks prepared specifically for us.

The Blue Paloma is well appointed with eclectic décor and an overall inviting feeling. The property boasts beautiful dark hardwood floors throughout (I have an affinity for hardwood floors!!). The rooms each have an ensuites, with air conditioners and private balconies. WiFi throughout the property made it convenient to work when necessary. The Blue Paloma offers resort-level amenities, with a local flare. There is a private chef on staff (Chef Conroy) whose local cuisine creations will WOW! your palate. The chef even managed to accommodate and please our extremely picky 10-year old. All meals were prepared from freshly harvested organic produce, and were finger-licking delicious.

Massages are available by appointment. I was fortunate to meet Jodi, the massage therapist and employ the skills of her gifted hands. I opted to receive the Blue Paloma special massage and TRUST, Jodi did not disappoint! As an avid runner, this massage was just what I needed to restore my aching muscles.

The property itself is littered with common areas throughout, including an outfitted gym, the tree swing (iconic Caribbean pastime), the hammock, the pool, the upper level lounge and deck, and each space offers plenty of opportunity to relax, make memories or just hangout.

The setting of The Blue Paloma, though idyllic, is located steps away from the town of Lucea. Fresh bread and sweet sugar cane will inspire a daily walk to town. The opportunity to meet and enjoy more of the island life and all its delicacies is unmatched as compared to a planned excursion. A visit to the local ice cream shop, Devon House is an absolute must! adults and children alike will love it.

We truly enjoyed every moment spent at The Blue Paloma this year and definitely plan to return to make more holiday memories.

I went here to stay a day prior to my sister's wedding and I must say that Andrea and Tonya are two of the most friendly people I have ever met. My dress was torn while getting dressed for my sister's wedding and they helped me to repair it so I could still wear it as planned. The breakfast was an excellent 3 course Jamaican cuisine, and the rooms were clean and neat. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming, I felt right at home. I most definitely will go back here in the near future as I didn't get to fully enjoy all of the amenities available. Kudos to the chef as well.
