Barefoot Guest House

Very large and comfy rooms. For a very affordable price (for Jamaica) we got a suite with two large rooms (two queen beds and a couch) with a small kitchen (mini fridge, kettle, and microwave), small outdoor sitting area, bathroom with hot shower, lots of fans and windows, and very comfy beds. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful going out of their way to be kind. The location is very convenient to town and on a quiet road. We slept very well and the place is very safe. Highly recommend it if in the area!

We stayed at the Barefoot Guest House in November 2017. The host was very warm and friendly. Our breakfast was excellent. Ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings which melted in our mouths. I am booking another night at the guest house in February 2018.

Nice and private

When I went there the service was ok, the atmosphere on the compound was also satisfactory. The location to some may seem tedious as it's a one way in and out scenario surrounded by a few informal settlements, despite this the overall area is relatively peaceful and one shouldn't experience any undue stress or difficulties.
