Local food in your backyard. Drivers available to take you anywhere you want to go!! The owners are amazing human beings who only want you to enjoy your stay!! We've stayed here twice now and already have 2025 booked!!

We stayed at Effies in January 2024. It was absolutely amazing! Villa is beautiful, Aki and Effie are extremely helpful, and the location is perfect! We've traveled the world, and our stay at Effies was easily one of our top vacations. I would highly recommend Effies!

Owned by a Canadian couple, this 3 bedroom villa has all the amenities and comfort you could wish for being steps from a marvelous, almost private beach. Also available is a private pool for an alternative cooling dip.
The owners occupy an apartment on the property. When in residence, they are the most hospitable couple you can find. They were extremely helpful to us in anything we wanted to do or procure. If anything needed attendance, they were on it immediately.
The husband is practically a local celebrity. Everyone knows him as he spends much time in Jamaica.
The villa's housekeeper, who comes daily, is a gem. Renters really do not have to lift a finger. She expertly prepared any meals we wanted and helped prepare our shopping lists. Since we had two young girls with us, she didn't mind preparing separate meals for them, as they were less enamored of Jamaican cuisine.
Our two weeks at Effie's villa was an idyllic time for the six of us. We would happily recommend it to anyone.

Great rental apartment suitable for a couple. There is also a bigger family house for rental.
Close to beach, literally a few steps away. Authentic restaurants and bars close by. If you want an authentic jamaican experience with modern comforts this is a great place to stay.

Effies villa is probably if not the best looking and kept inside and outside. The villa is maintained very well and very clean. Top of the line furnishings and grade of appliances. The white sands and literally Theo minute walk to the beach make it magical and convenient. No beach like it for miles. Leroy eatery bar is about 50 ft away and the owners are super humans. The beach is private and safe and clean. The owners of Effies are amazing people who try to make the stay memorable. Loved the place and the beach and recommend it highly.

This is the best place I have ever stayed at in my many trips to Jamaica. Staggering distance from the house is LEROYS. A beach front bar that plays live Regge most nights. 1 minute beach walk. So amazing. I'm a guitar player and Leroy let me play in with the band for 2 nights!! Highly recommended!

Second time staying at Effie's. Wonderful people, great views, steps from the beach and places to eat.
