Really awesome spot in Sasebo. Our friends took us out to try it. It's a grilled meat on skewers type place. We had Japanese steak, scallop shrimp, spicy cucumber salad, fried oyster, curry rice, and Octopus calamari. Everything was great. Highlight of the night were the chu-Hi. I highly recommend the pineapple mango mix...very dangerous mix. Awesome place to start the night. You have to make reservations as it fills up quick.

Another place in Sasebo that I need to eat until I can't move. Everything is amazing and it is a favorite among almost all my coworkers. Every time I come to Sasebo, this is on the list of must stops.

This is my favorite yakitori place in all of Japan. The staff is always very nice, the food is top notch, and the drinks are always refreshing. Their chu hi is delicious. Try the cheesy bacon! It is amazing. Can't wait to come back.

One of the more popular yakitori places in the area. Everything tastes great and there is a good chu-hai menu as well. The place is small so reservations are best. Make sure to bring cash!

Super cool yakitori (big on food on skewers) place! Shrimp and scallops were cooked in this exciting mustard based sauce and were rather delicious. My husband had beef, pork cutlets and shrimp skewers and absolutely loved it. We both had traditional Japanese soup - ramen and it was very tasty!

The place is small but very cozy, ask to be seated in the tatami room if available- truly a neat experience!

The food is great here, but it is always busy because of this... You may need to make reservations if you have a group of people. If you get here when it opens, you may get lucky and get a seat right away. This is the best place I could find for Yakitori in Sasebo.

A bbq place, very cozy, and english speaking staff. I ordered ramen which they only have Japanese ramen and pig fried feet that’s good with alcohol.

I always love the style of food and drinks, the darker wood tones really brings this place it's own style. I even returned a charm I had drunkenly stolen from here years ago.

You can’t go wrong with anything at this restaurant. Great atmosphere, great food, great price. Nice sized drinking containers as well which, in Japan, is tough to find. Can’t wait to eat here again one day!

Cost effective, delicious and fun. Good Lawd! The food is so good I thought I was stealing. Shrimp scallop was maybe my favorite of all.
This place only accepts cash and I recommend it to everyone coming by!
Not sure if this is a great setup for kids but for friends and even a date, this is the place to go!

Best Izakia in Sasebo, top ten I've been to in Japan. Get the steak, they run out. Drinks are very good for the price, draft beer. Bacon wrapped cheese was amazing.

Place is delicious. It has an extensive English menu. It can be a little cramped sometimes but it's worth it. Can be somewhat expensive, but again it's a good treat once a month. Food is delicious and the drinks are even better. All about that Mango Chuhai.

This place is awesome! My favorite spot and a must-go in Sasebo. Great food and drinks in a small cozy setting. Reservation is highly recommended. Place gets packed on the weekend but even weeks days can be full.
