Tokutomi Dental Clinic

I have a very cliché fear of any needles involved, but I can honestly say my experience here went very well. I had wisdom teeth removal done last month and last year with Dr. Tokutomi with no co-pay for Tricare Dental Insurance. 1st they swab topical anethesia on my gums, after i felt numb I got injected with local anesthesia. I was so happy i didn't feel the needle poke 😅😅😅. Yes I was nervous! 🤣🤣🤣 I waited another 15~30mins for the anesthesia to kick in. Doc was checking and poking my gums and lips if I feel anything vs the other half of my face before doing the procedure, he warned me about the "pressure" before extraction. It was very quick and painless!!! I did feel the "pressure" it was like someone is pulling a nail out minus the pain. I was prescribed antibiotics afterwards 3x/day for 3 days. Got the meds from pharmacy in Ginza for $20. I decline the prescription for pain killers because i have a lot of motrin at home. Very professional dentists and speak english well.

Amazing! We are new to the area and my child is very afraid of needles. When she found out that she needed to fix two cavities she was extremely worried. The Doctor and staff had so much patience with my nervous child. We are native English speakers and the staff was so kind to try to explain everything to us. I found Tokutomi to be an English friendly office. Hopefully the next time we visit my Japanese language skills will be improved. I would like to give them a proper thank you for being so skilled, gentle and kind. The office is a very calming environment. We look forward to going to Tokutomi dental. Thank you again Dr.
