I love this mountain! We skied there during the Asian winter games in 2017 for the first time and I love to come back every winter. Yesterday we took the whole team of ski coaches from Hokkaido Ski Club for their ski event. We work hard in Niseko and this mountain is a good change offering some steep powder runs and a beautiful view of Sapporo and the sea of Japan! Always good times!

Unforgettable winter getaway! This place offers blanketed powderey snow with breath taking scenery and picturesque mountains surrounding Sapporo. Exceptional snow conditions and outstanding facilities. The slopes are perfect for beginners and experienced riders. Just a short bus ride from the downtown Sapporo but be time concious since there is only limited buses going back to downtown.

Sapporo Teine can be found just above Sapporo city, this little ski resort is better than most ski resorts in Australia and gets an insane amount of snow. Lift tickets are only 4500 yen for a full day of riding.

Getting to the summit and riding all the way to the bottom is an absolute must when you visit.

Easy access to the ski field. Only ¥3700 day ski lift ticket. Free bus from the train station. Range of good, well priced food options and drinks.

Highly recommended Ski Resort for Beginner to Expert. Many people from around the work come here to enjoy the ski and view. If you come to Kapan during winter, make ssure you bring yourself here. Awesome 🤩

Great ski area. Easy enough to get to from the city and decent tree skiing when it gets snow. Worth checking out for sure

One of the best ski days I’ve had in my life. It houses the womens’ and mens’ giant slalom courses from when Sapporo hosted the Olympics. The views from the top were amazing. You can see the city to the ocean. The runs were long and so incredible. I dream about this place!

Spring Ski for one day in early apr. Not much of a crowd. No pubic transport back to Teine train station so need to taxi back. But then still glad to be able to ski in apr. Should have better snow during jan and feb. Well recommended

This was a fantastic ski resort the rentals are well priced and the snow is world class!

Rentals are well priced and ski passes are very affordable!

Would recommend this location as it was my first but the resort and other skiers were all very patient with me.

Great resort that is very foreigner friendly and accommodating.

Don't forget to grab a beer and some amazing food at the cafeteria on the third floor in-between runs.

You can see fabulous landscape from top of this mountain. I guess this is the only ski resort to look down the big city with nearly 2 million people and sea. Snow is incredible great and can enjoy long downhill course nearly 2km.

Great experience, we went here for our first ski lesson. Great resort, very close to city center, kind and helpful staff. If you considering taking ski lesson, opt for the full day, half day class is too basic.

The highland area is still open even after the snowing season (which ends 3/31) Snow is sooooo soft and fluffy. Staffs are very friendly, they speak Japanese but also a bit English and Chinese. You can easily rent all the Quitman here or take the ski or snowboard class. No need to worry about food, they are many restaurants and dining area here. I think the next time we should come earlier because they have kids area during snowing season. It’s not far from Sapporo city Center you can take JR Tran and change to Taxi to get here. We had a good time!

I've been here a few times. This ski resort has a 6 km green run which I like. The snow has been powdery every time I came here. The rest of the resort is pretty good too as it has been used in a Winter Olympic Games.

Probably the best snow resort Ive ever been for my 2 years short snowboard career!! the ticket is not expensive and the snow quality is so good, multiple level of the course means everyone can having fun, food is delicious and fare prices, shuttle bus will go every hour until 1640, and 2110 for the olympia next to the Teine highland. Overall I have a very good time here and already felt level up for my snowboard skill haha!!

Lots to explore, park at the bottom and ride all the way to the top.
Plan your runs to be at the top then you can ride to the bottom after the lifts close.

On busy days there will be slow traffic on the road out after the day session closes, either leave earlier or wait an extra hour and a half to start your drive if you want to avoid the traffic

Great fun to go skiing or snowboarding. You can rent everything, not too expensive. Alot of fun for beginners, experts, or spending time with the family.
