I flew JL 736 from 🛫HKG to 🛬NRT 🇯🇵in business class. The service 👩‍🔧was excellent, as expected. The food was better than the average business class fare offered by other airlines, including Cathay Pacific. The Japanese lunch 🍱was well plated and delicious. I ordered the 'Steep' Pinot Noir 🍷wine, which was more than drinkable. The ice cream 🍨was standard, but still enjoyable.

Flew with JAL and service was really good, seats have good legroom, dis/embarking and check-in process was very organized and even a 5-minute delay in embarkation prompted staff to adjust the board and announce a well-meaning apology to all customers. Food was literally a FULL meal of awesome flavours and you’ll be provided with a whole bottle of water unlike other airlines who won’t even come back to you when you ask water for medicine (side eyeing you PAL). If you fly business/first class you also get a fly kit but only cons is you won’t get this in economy so bring your eyepads and slippers. Washroom is kept really clean and well-stocked and in-flight entertainment has more than what other airline offers in terms of variety. Well recommended.

The last leg of our trip from Tasmania to Vancouver was from Narita, Japan to Vancouver. This was cancelled due to heavy snow in Vancouver and the airport there closing down. Japan Airlines put us on a bus and put us up in a hotel for two nights while they arranged a way for us to get to Vancouver, then scheduled another bus to bring us back to the airport where they booked us a flight to Seattle (the closest available to Vancouver), and gave us a bus voucher to get from Seattle to Vancouver. We were provided with food and drink whenever we had to wait around too long in the airport. All the staff at JAL were literally running around trying to do the best they could for us and we appreciate all the effort and sincerity from the individuals that took care of us during this busy time. Thank you!!!

Friendly staff and service. Amazing food service on a 6 hour flight to Hanoi. Highly recommend.

The best airlines I've ever experienced, I definitely enjoyed my time there as a passenger, very great and friendly staff and they served very delicious food and even alcohol was free, definitely would love to ride with this airlines again, it is the best airlines

やはり日本の航空会社サービスが親切丁寧‼

国際線カウンターサービス等等は非常に丁寧で問題無し。フライト中も真摯な声かけやサポートを受けることができました。
とりわけ感じたのは、機内食がめっちゃ美味しい！何食べても美味しいことが驚きです♪

赤色のファースト用絨毯と一見してラグジュアリーな空間を目印にお進みください。
ファースト入口には、通称黒服のグランドスタッフさんが待機しており、手続きを案内してくれます。
○チケット購入の方
縮小体制のため、お近くのスタッフに相談し空いているカウンターで対応してもらいましょう。

My wife and I boarded the JL724 from Kuala Lumpur to Narita International Airport on our way to Honolulu. The stopover at Narita International Airport of about 14 hours is far too long, and we ended up seated next to Gate 61 while waiting to use JAL Sakura Lounge, which has a 3-hour limit use that was booked during ticket purchase. Before then, we took a one-stop Keisie train to Narita City and returned soon after brunch as the weather was pretty cold, and we were tired out. Like precision, the aeroplane took off on schedule from Kuala Lumpur and landed as scheduled at Narita. The flight was smooth, and meals were served at set schedules. The meals were satisfactory, but there is room for improvement to the sound system, since at times it was difficult to comprehend the announcement. The free headset was low or mediocre quality. There were empty seats around us, but we were politely told they were reserved seats and can be used only with payment. No, you can't occupy the empty seats unless you pay extra.

Give it 3.5 stars. Good leg room, comfortable seats. Staff's are attentive and nice. Good selections of alcohol. The touch screen monitor is good.
However, the in-flight entertainments are lacking. Outdated movies and shows. Jal used to have good food in the economy area. Nowadays, it's slightly better than some other airlines.

Outdated point program that doesnt work well.
Full fledge airline who doesnt give eyemask in economy for a long distance flight.
Disapointing.

They refused to change the date of a flight that was 6 weeks away when I couldn't make the travel dates happen, then charged me $660 to cancel. I'm also betting that my cancellation was at no inconvenience to them. That's my only experience with JAL.

Very poor customer service feedback, I won’t flight with this airline anymore

案内の地上係員は態度がすこぶる悪く、ぶっきらぼうで、上海行きはここに並んでて良いのですか？Webチェックインはありませんか？と聞いたら、中国東方航空の事は分からないのでインターネットでホームページを自分で調べて下さいと言わて呆れました。いくら混んでいてイラついてるからと言って、サービスを面倒くさがるのは最低の態度だと思いしまた。日本航空のお客には案内をして共同運行の中国東方航空の客にはぞんざいに扱うのは大変気分が悪かったです。社員教育をし直して、日本のおもてなしをしっかり教えてほしい。

セルフチェックイン、セルフラゲッジドロップは非常に面倒。有人カウンターが激混みの場合のみ使用した方が良いかと。
