Fujitatami Guesthouse

One of the nicest and most peaceful hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The whole place had such a lovely and cosy feel to it. Also full of praises for Issey he was extremely helpful , polite and just a joy to be around! Can’t wait to visit again !

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very happy with the service. Owners are really friendly and engaging. I also did the Tatami workshop too! It was really a special experience, plus I got a small tatami mat as a souvenir! Hope to come back again!

One of the best places I’ve stayed at! Nice tatami rooms and adequate facilities. The owners are very friendly and engaging and gave us some great tips for the area and Osaka city. I highly recommend the tatami workshop! The only slight downside is that it is a bit far from Osaka city but there are is a train station pretty close by and it is also nice to be in a more quite area after spending the whole day in the busy city. I hope I can come again one day!

This is a very cute family run Hostel. For anybody interested in Japanese culture, this is very close to a homestay.

They offer a tatami workshop in which you get to learn about how tatami mats are made and you get to craft your own small mat as a memento. Best experience on our whole trip.
Definitely coming back here.

Loved it here!!! Issai and Kana are just the sweetest people and will help you with anything you need. To me, it felt like visiting family. The rooms are also clean, the futons comfortable and you have airconditioning in the room. It's not in the city centre, but I really liked coming 'home' to a more quiet location. Also, there's a supermarket right across the guesthouse and you have your own kitchen area to use for cooking, doing the laundry or storing food in the fridge. Felt very happy and comfortable here, 10/10 would recommend!!

A super cute ryokan run by a sweet couple ❤ The owner's dad runs a place that makes tatami-mats, so the ryokan if filled from top to toe tatami. Some mats are even painted by the owner.

The place is a bit in the middle of nowhere, so it is perfect if you need a break from the Osaka buzz and you just want to relax. The facilities are super clean and the price is cheap. Would recommend.

Good place, would suggest going there to anyone visiting with their family.

いっくん(いっせいさん：オーナー)のお父さんが畳屋さんをしていて、畳の良さをじっくり感じて欲しいという思いで始めたゲストハウスです。
海外産と違い、目が細かく綺麗で長持ちする畳の良質さを教えてもらいました！
過去に来たびっくりゲストの話や、旅を愛する気持ちをゆるゆるお喋りしながら聞かせてもらい、良い時間過ごせました！

住み込みスタッフの素敵女子がやっている併設カフェは17時まで。早めにチェックインしてまったりしちゃいましょう☕

非常有驚喜嘅一間民宿 ❤❤ 交通非常便利，唔好比地圖上嘅pin嚇親，其實出入真係好方便！

Fujitatami係一間有故事的民宿！Issay嘅爺爺嬤嬤留下呢間和式建築比Issay，Issay將佢變成民宿。更令人驚喜嘅係，Issay爸爸係手工tatami師傅，工作坊就喺民宿隔離，所以Fujitatami成間民宿都係tatami，好香！ 如果想參觀爸爸嘅工作坊，可以預約參觀喔！好熱情嘅爸爸 ❤❤

熱情嘅Issay Kana加居酒屋主人 Ton，一間無懈可擊嘅民宿，真係希望可以再返去住一個月 ❤❤

宿に入った瞬間、畳のいい匂いが迎えてくれます。
宿の隣にある畳工場も見学可能で、日本人でもなかなか味わえない体験ができました。これからは畳コースター作りなどもできるようになるみたいです！
スタッフのアツシさんはフィリピンの孤児院でボランティアスタッフをしていた経験もあるそうで、こちらも貴重なお話が聞けました。
正直周りに目立った観光スポットは見当たりませんでしたが（お散歩にいい場所や、ご飯屋さんなどはありました）この宿を目当てに来ても面白いかと思います。
宿自体、古民家のよさを残しつつ、快適に過ごせるように改装がされていました。
雑魚寝のドミトリーはプライバシーがどうなるか不安でしたが、畳で出来たパーテンションによって快適に過ごすことができました。また、ほとんどすべてが畳張りなので、どこでもゴロゴロと寝そべることができ気持ちよかったです。
バーも併設されていて、飲んでそのまま寝るなんていう素敵なことも可能でした！！地酒やオリジナルカクテルなどもあり、かつリーズナブルで美味しかったです。
あえて言うならば、酒器が違えばもっと素敵になるだろうなぁというところでしょうか。でもあくまで安宿なので、今のままでもちょうどいいのかもしれません(^^)
まだまだ始まったばかりなので、これからというところもあると思いますが、期待を込めて満点です(^^)

連泊させてもらいました。
古民家を改装している室内は、入った瞬間畳の香りがして懐かしい気持ちになりました。
客間は古民家の味のある雰囲気のまま、水場は改装してあるので快適に使えました。近くにいくつも温泉があるので、お風呂に入りたい方はそちらを利用するのもおすすめです。
夜は共有スペースでバー営業もしているので、（350円〜お酒が飲めます）ちゃぶ台を囲んで宴をするのが楽しかったです。
スタッフの2人がフレンドリーで楽しませてもらいました！また訪れたいです。

畳の香りが印象的な宿でした。設備も使いやすく、とても居心地がよかったです。
畳工場の見学も普段身近にある畳の作り方を知ることができ大変興味深かった。
見学後に良い香りの畳の上で眠るのもとても素敵な経験でした。また利用したいです。

古民家の雰囲気を残しつつ水回りは改装されており、小綺麗なお宿でした。

建家もオーナーさんも温かみがあって、子ども２人(7才と5才)と私(母)で宿泊したのですが、優しく迎えていただきました。

隣が畳工場で、工場見学をさせて頂きました。特に上の子は興味津々！毎年、近くの小学生が工場見学に来るらしく、そのような工場を貸切り状態で見学させて頂いて、本当に価値のある宿泊でした。

ヨーロッパの方が宿泊されていて、少しですが、子どもたちの前でお話出来ました。子供の教育のために、私が外国の方とナチュラルにお話する場面を子どもに見せたいと思っていたので、ラッキーでした。

前にコンビニ、斜め向かいにうどんチェーン店、10分弱？程歩けばドラッグストアもあり、便利です。

日本の方にも、外国の方にも、オススメです。

古民家のゲストハウスで落ち着けます。

畳の匂いもあり、日本人はもちろん、
海外のかたも喜びそうです。

関空まで約30分
高野山まで約1時間と
このゲストハウスを基点に
いろいろな過ごし方ができると思います。

ライダーのかたなら
ツーリングするのにも
適していると思います。

目の前にコンビニがあり
近くにも飲食店があるので
長期滞在にも事欠きません。

畳屋さんもやってるスタッフと
福祉出身のスタッフの
ホスピタリティーも良かったです。

オープンしたばかりですが、
応援したくなるような
若い2人ががんばっているので
大阪に行くことがあれば
オススメの宿です。
