Real cool place.

Rocked up after midnight on a weekday with no reservation (late night check in with no reservation is 2000 yen!) and got the best sleep near the station I ever had.

Guy workn the counter was real nice, good English too. 100 or so yen for any amentities you'll need except they don't have body wash or ear swabs.

Pod #23 has the thickest mattress ;)

Beautifully designed capsule hostel, sleeping in a comfy bed nestled behind bookshelves is a really fun experience! Very clean, lovely staff, perfect location and good value, would recommend to anyone.

立地もよいです。
本の品ぞろえは好みの問題もありますが、話題の本や新刊はないです。
漫画が好きなら有名どころはそろっています。
洋書もありました。

じゃらんで¥2200円ととても格安。今回は自分を含め客数４名の宿泊で静かで過ごしやすかった。男性は入口より手前、女性は奥の方にベッドが用意されている点は良かったが、壁は薄く大きく動くと振動が伝わるので、真横でなく、ひとつ分あけてベッドを用意して欲しかった。でも館内は非常に清潔だし、本の種類も幅広くあるし、料金は格安なので、ベッドのことなどそう気にならない。

安いホステルですが全体的にきれいでした。完全にではないですが、できるだけ女性と男性でベッドが分かれていて、そういう配慮はありがたいです。本の量はまあまあですが、マンガから洋書まで種類は多かったです。そしてスタッフの方が臨機応変に親切に対応してくれて非常に助かりました。

本に囲まれ一晩を過ごす、というコンセプトはありそうで無かった。簡易宿泊施設という点でいわゆる漫喫とは全く異なるし、落ち着いた雰囲気がとても良い。新潟駅前という利便性の高いエリアにある割に、利用料金がリーズナブルなのもおすすめ。

자는 공간도 그야말로 책장속에서 잔다는 기분을 느꼈습니다.

Je suis français et je suis allé 3 fois dans cet hôtel. Il n'y a vraiment rien à reprocher ! L'endroit est agréable, il y a des livres en japonais et en anglais (roman, comics, mangas, magazine, photobook), les salles de bains, les douches et les toilettes sont très propres ! L'hôtel est très bien situé, juste à côté de la gare et à proximité des magasins et des restaurants. En plus, c'est vraiment pas cher ! Et le meilleur pour moi c'est l'accueil du personnel ! Le staff est tellement agréable, souriant, très gentil, parle anglais et peut vous donner des conseils pour votre visite de Niigata. À essayer absolument !! ✌

じゃらんの23時以降チェックインプランで二人で4000円で宿泊。手元ライト、充電ケーブル、お手洗い、シャワールーム、洗面所、簡易キッチン、ソファコーナーなど過不足なく必要なものが揃っていてコストパフォーマンス最高だった。

新潟駅前に、本に囲まれた隠れ家がある。本棚の裏側に寝床がある。新潟の秘密基地を作ったのは、日系ハワイ人のグレッグ長谷川さん。夏になると海の家や信濃川沿いでビヤガーデンを仕掛けたりと忙しくされている。

ここは、静かに本の虫になれる。朝起きると巨大な虫に変身しているかも。
