The Bow Bar

A special place for enjoying whiskey and learning history around bottle year and ageing. Found two supremes with structured flavours and colours. You will be surrounded by whiskey bottles wall with adequate lighting and vibes full with joy and light music.

You don’t come here to get alcohol. You come here for the rich history behind the bottles of scotch that Homma San spent 25 years to build. It may be pricy, but you’re paying for something money can’t buy you elsewhere. Had an absolutely great time here and would not hesitate to return again next time I’m back in Sapporo again. arigatou gozaimasu!

Absolutely amazing. Perhaps not a place to go "just for a quick one"...i mean, you can, but its a place i personally would recommend to go there and take your time there.

Definitely a place for those who appreciate a good drink and a classic atmosphere. The collection you'll find there is out of this world.

This bar is authentic and classical bar served with very old rare molt whiskey. If you have chance to visit Hokkaido and love whiskey, I strongly recommend to visit there. The bar owner Honma san is very kind and friendly. But please be noted that it is not cheap.

Absolutely amazing whiskey bar. Rare and old scotches, armagnacs, and grapas. Honma san, the owner, is increabibly knowledgeable and very friendly. He has a passion for his collection and you can tell he enjoys sharing it with his customers. We had an outanading experience there.

Cozy bar with a very knowledgeable master! Introduced some very interesting scotch!

This place is superb, scotch from 1890 all the way through to some not so modern classics. The owner speaks great English, is well knowledgeable, and though there is a small charge, it`s worth it to sip on a 1951 Macallan.

有名という事でお邪魔しました。ウイスキー好きならカウンター右側、ブランデー関連なら左側に座るのが良いですと教えられたので右側に。座った瞬間、見たことあるラベルがほとんど無く、正直全部飲みたい…というレベルでした。飲みたい、というのはもう飲めなくなるという意味で、味を知っているから飲みたいではありません。味を知りたいから飲みたい、でした。
芯のあるオーナーでお話させていただいた内容も貴重でした。ついつい予算オーバーしてしまいました。。でもまた行きます。

オールドボトルの取り揃えが尋常ならざる世界。お値段が高いのは致し方ない。ロマーノ・レヴィ縛りなら比較的リーズナブルな気がします。

札幌のバーのレベルを飛び切りに引き上げている良店。
ただし普通の酒は一本もない、全てが特別な酒だけが用意されている。

こちらのビルに移り15年位、以前は南6西4の野口ビルで営業されており、トータル25年。老舗ですね。店内は、薄暗く、長いカウンター。壁いっぱいのお酒たち。カクテルは、あまり作らないとおっしゃっていました。珍しいお酒を選んで貰い、5種類位、ロックやハイボールで頂きました。出して頂いたチョコレートケーキが、重くなく、大人のテイストで、とても美味しかったのですが、お腹いっぱいで、食べられなかったのが残念。マスターは、ずっと変わらない、全くブレないスタンス。素晴らしいです。
