Perfect House

Muy amplio y acogedor, falta tostadora de pan y cuchillos de untar. Se sugiere una plancha para la ropa.

Proprietor was very kind and helpful, and even agreed to meet us early so we could drop off bags when we arrived in town.

The place is a ways outside the heart of Kyoto, but if you're ok with using the light rail or JR it's easy to access the city. The area is also not very tourist-friendly even if you speak some Japanese; so be ready to look around a bit to find decent dinner in the area without irritating the locals. The side street it's on is supposing busy and noisy for a little side alley, as well.

The home is decorated with cute knicknacks and comfortably can accommodate six adults probably. The upstairs tatami room was comfortable for sleeping and stayed cozy in winter. Not sure how it'd do in summer. The kitchen is small but serviceable, as are the bathroom and wash room.

Nothing spectacular but as a budget option, especially for a group traveling together. I hope they do well but for my preferences I'll probably pick a proper hotel next time.
