A really nice private onsen in nikko!
I do recommend to call to reserve before you come.
You need to call twice! Once is for booking and second is for confirming before you go. They will lock 1 room for you.

The price will be depending on hour that you spend there.
Before time up they will call you via phone!

Lost of review said that staff is not nice but for me they are very friendly just the way they are. They talked with me so friendly

So I really recommend this place if you want to have private time at onsen!

Loved this hidden gem and would’ve gone every day of my trip if I could’ve. The private little huts are perfect for anyone shy, with tattoos or just wanting more of a relaxing experience vs a public onsen. The huts are much larger than I expected and have everything you need, towels, hairdryer, sitting space and a fridge if you want to bring your own drinks.

It was difficult to make a reservation online as I don’t read/write/speak Japanese but once we arrived it was perfect. They could use some more signage though with directions once you get to the parking lot.

Very good atmosphere, quite, natural. But no food around here. I love it here will come back again!! Winter should be very nice for this place. Hot onsen and cold weather on face!!!

What a lovely place. Perfect private bath overlooking the river. We travelled with a one year old. It's perfect for him to be able to walk around without disturbing anyone. The indoor tatami space was such a bonus too for us to rest when needed. It was a magical and beautiful experience indeed.

Private onsen with a nice atmosphere and wonderful onsen service.

We went here twice and the 2nd time opted for a 90 minutes service to be able to fully enjoy the experience. The changing room is spacious with a warm welcoming atmosphere and the outdoor onsen is top-notch. The surrounding and leading to the onsen view is also beautiful, especially at night.

The owner was also super friendly and accommodating.

Be sure to make a reservation in advance! It was wonderful. The room was clean and water felt so amazing. The view of the river was great.

Private onsen that is 3800 yen an hour. Comes with luxurious tatami room with shower and private toilet, with two separate tubs at different temperatures to switch between. Draft beer and and canned chu his for very reasonable prices, hardly any more expensive than a vending machine
Literally across the river from the livemax resort via a suspension bridge. Well mantained and manicured grounds with view of the river complete the experience. I havd not been to a better onsen yet

Very nice private onsen! Suitable for couples and people with tattoos! Room and water temperature is adjustable. Nice view walking from the bridge to the onsen too!

Beautiful garden. Wood and granite tubs. A living room and toilet to change. It's like a different world, just 30metres from the road.

A hidden gem. The best onsen experience I've ever had. Walking down those steps down to those little cabins made me feel like I was entering a different world. Then relaxing in the nice warm waters lifted any stress or tension I had. Truly a unique and amazing experience.

Nice private onsen. You can rent a «room» with two different bath (both outside but one unprotected and one under a roof( inside for 3800 yen, one hour.
We went there when it was snowing and the snow falling on us while being in a warm bath was the best experience ever.

Really good place for people who prefer privacy in onsen. Especially for family or couple. Really nice and beautiful. Has 2 pool of onsen, one is wood pool which is under roof, the other one is rock (concrete) which is completely open air. No food or drink provided but can bring your own. Suitable for all season, really good view.

An amazing experience we couldn't have had if our friends hadn't made an appointment for us. Because its only japanese staff their and the internet site is in japanese.
