Men should try visit on even calendar days, and women on odd calendar days! That way, you will be able to enjoy the west half of the bath house, which is far nicer than the east half.

A good variety in baths, spread over 3 floors. Both indoor and outdoor baths. They also include barrel baths, a jacuzzi, a stone bath, a jet bath, and also a sauna.

Two of the baths are saturated in minerals, and the water has become a deep reddish-brownish colour. You will not be able to see yourself when you look down. However, I noticed a faint presence of ammonia in there, and I'm not sure this is normal. I believe it shouldn't affect the efficacy. It's not noticable unless you really try smelling it.

The system is as follows: take off your shoes and put it in a locker. That locker requires a ¥100 coin which you will get back. At the counter, you pay and they will give you your locker key. The shoe locker you keep with you. Match your locker key with the one in the changing room, and do the whole hotsprings ritual from there on out. And by the by: they also have lockers for your umbrella at the entrance.

There is also a restaurant, and you could use your locker key to purchase something from it. But this time only the drinks bar was open, but I didn't need it. When checking out, give back your locker key, and they will check if you purchased anything, and then you fulfill any oustanding payment.

You certainly leave to feel like a new person ^^

Only downside is that it's about a 15 minute walk from train station Shimosa-Manzaki. It's hard to fault them for this though, as geothermal sources just simply tend not to be in city centres. Maybe the train station can be moved :)

Amazing place.. you can book a private room to have private bath and also a meal. Foods are delicious. We also experienced body therapy massage. I definitely recommend massage too. You can also use public bath which is also very clean and nice. The only challange was the language barrier. However, all staff was very helpful and did their best to understand our needs. Best spa near Narita Airport!

Great place that's off the beaten path and thankfully, away from noisy tourists. While I am one myself, it was nice to get away from the others, as it has been rather hectic for the people here.

Anyway, very clean and nice facility, was very quiet and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even with the mutual language barrier. Definitely would come back again!

The place itself is a hidden gem in Tokyo outskirts!
Pricing was about 800Yen per person. Not much of tourist around but quite a number of locals. Definitely a must try!! Five thumbs up!!!

Tattoos welcome, but children under elementary school age are not. Dream place for relaxing! Good variety of baths, including one with jacuzzi jets. Sauna included in entry price. Bring own towels and bathroom products. Hair dryers are free! Restaurant is reasonably priced, has a good variety of Japanese food, and awesome sushi.

Tattoo friendly, lovely staff and great facilities. Perfect stop for my final onsen experience before heading home. The outdoor onsen at night was so peaceful and the perfect temperature. Definitely recommend.

This is The best way to spend a long layover in Tokyo. Get there easily by train from Narita airport, then walked about 18 min from the Train Station. The facilities are clean, beautiful and the place is so serene. I really enjoyed the hot springs and the cold plunge after the sauna. The food at the restaurant was also absolutely delicious. Highly recommend you come here !! Oh oh and make sure to try the fresh squeezed blood orange juice there have in the lobby. UnreaL.

Although remote, it was definitely worth the trip. I booked a private bath for 2 hours. We ordered sashimi sets and drinks which were served in our room. They were delicious. Highly recommended if you have tattoos as they are tattoo-friendly. The service is efficient and facilities very clean.

I wanted to try Onsen and this one is placed conveniently on the way from airport to Tokyo center. It took me like 20 minutes train ride from the airport and than it is nice little walk (1,5km) from Shimosa-Manzaki station. Important is to put yor boots into a locker (100yen). The staff at front spoke basic English and they gave out manual what to do and basic rules. You have to have your own towel (small one) or otherwise you need to buy one. General rules are wash yourself before going into onsen, do not wear any swimsuit and be quite. One thing I do not understand is the TV in the sauna. Whole place is a place of calm and there is screaming TV in the middle of sauna. Price is 800yen over weekdays and the place is tattoo friendly!

Tattoo friendly onsen! So peaceful and beautiful scenery. They rotate the public onsen locations for men and women. Check their website for the map layout. Since we went on an odd day as a woman I got to experience the 3 different floors (B area). My husband still had a relaxing time on his side (A area).

As soon as you walk in there are shoe lockers for you to rent for 100 yen. No shoes allowed passed the entrance lockers. You get your 100 yen coin back when you return the shoe locker key back to retrieve your shoes. We brought our own big towels and purchased small towels. Once you purchase your entrance (850 yen on weekdays) you are given your locker key for your respective side.

The facilities are kept very clean. The temperature for each hot spring area is listed. 2nd floor of B area also had an outdoor jacuzzi. 3rd floor of B area had an indoor hot onsen with jets and sauna.

Sadly restaurant was closed during our visit but we were still able to order beer and rice cracker snacks.

Beautiful place in the middle of rural japan, somewhat far from Tokyo but still it's not a long way.
Everything Is very neat and tidy
The food is very good.
This onsen is tattoo friendly!
The price Is ok, it's 1000Y entrance fee plus amenities which you buy at the front desk.
There's an english guidebook if you don't know the rules of onsen and english menu.
there's a beautiful sight of the outside at the baths

We rented a private room and it was really nice. Lunch was good, but many dishes were sold out.
If you have time, I suggest you also take a walk at the park nearby.

Great local spot nestled in the country side. Comfortable, clean, overall nice local facilities. If you are foreign, please learn and practice proper bathing in Japanese baths. This is not a Hot tub like the West!

Very much enjoy this bath house. They have no rules about tattoos, and both sides have a lovely outdoor bath space. The male/female sides switch every day, so if one went 2 days in a row, they could experience both sides. A wonderful place to relax in the middle of farm fields.
