Great location, can get to the station via bus or walk. This is close to the shopping centre and are able to most of the sights within 20 minutes.

Reception is located at the top of the hotel, toiletries and amenities are also available here.

We stayed on the room only rate, as there are plenty of cafes and other eateries that we wanted to try.

Good size room and bathroom. In the lounge there is coffee and tea available. Also alcoholic beverages are served from 5pm and are free. There is a laundry room on the first floor, we had to wait a while as all the machines were in use.

Spacious room! Reception is on the top floor, where the common area and rooftop are. Check out their schedule for the common area as every few hours they offer something! I was able to get snacks with tea or coffee and then they did offer a happy hour with drinks, in the evening they had ochazuke (rice and soup) which was delightful and you can sit on rooftop while eating and drinking. They offer a public bath as well, women need a separate access code to get into the women's section so don't forget your code and bring your room bath towel too! It's just one big pool but still better than nothing. Our room was one of the largest rooms we had on our one month trip to Japan. It felt luxurious just to have room enough to open more than one suitcase. It's about a 15-20 min walk from the station to hotel, or you can take a can which cost us just under 1100 yen. Walkable to prime tourist spots, and looks like they had a lot of restaurants nearby too. Clean bathroom and good wifi, would definitely stay again here.

Loved this hotel! Beautiful roof terrace with sunset views of the city. The staff are very kind. Breakfast excellent, good balance of Japanese and western options.
The happy hour is from 5-7 with free chilled wine and Prosecco and a cocktail option as well as chilled oolong tea and crispy seaweed chips. Very sociable and welcoming time.
Then there is rice and soup at 9. So nice.
Liked the rooms, ours was the basic one but had a sofa and lovely bathroom. Also Japanese pyjamas and slippers in the room.
There was a large and beautiful communal onsen pool bath downstairs, women’s and men’s separate, I went early each morning and had the whole pool to myself
We would return to this hotel!

A great hotel within walking distance of the Bomb crater area and peace park. A large shopping area is only 5 mins away which has plenty of variety for shopping. The main station is a street car ride away, about 10 mins and costs 220¥ for adults.

I love the fact that the local reviews are like "well this was ok" and the ones from people from Europe or the States are like "this is amazing". Guess what? we're in the second camp. They have (free) happy hour. They have (free) food, tea, coffee etc. On a rooftop terrace. Good room sizes (for Japan) The service was really good when we were there and considering that for that price in the UK you would get a Travelodge I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a place to stay in Hiroshima

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Hiroshima, very close to the peace memorial. Generous free snacks and cakes in the late afternoon plus a lovely glass of wine or cocktail. View from the communal terrace is wonderful.

Clean, spacious and incredible value. This place is spotless. Superior rooms are large with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom with deep soaking tub and a lot of counter space around the sink area. Reception is on the 14th floor with English speaking staff, a self-serve amenities table with free toiletries etc, and they offer free drinks and snacks at various times throughout the day. There is also a big bath which we didn’t use. Hotel is located near Hatchobori station and walking distance to the main shopping area. I stayed in an expensive high-rise hotel in Shinjuku and it was not as nice as this one! I would definitely stay here again!

Spotlessy clean and well appointed. Friendly helpful staff. Spacious room (by Japanese standards) and well located. Good value for money. I would happily stay again.

Whilst I do think a little could be done to improve the character of the rooms, this does not take away from the fact the staff were all very nice and helpful, and the rooftop terrace with free drinks (including Prosecco) and snacks is a huge win for this place.

Great hotel! They offered free wine/coffee/tea during happy hour with a great outdoor relaxation space to enjoy the drinks. The room was really clean, modern, and big (for Japan). Not much of a view from the tiny room window, but for the price it cannot be beat.

Great hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and all the information we were given was very thorough. Very comfortable bed and couch. They didn't really have a desk, just a small table.
You check out by using the menu on the TV and leaving your room key in the slot. Very fast check out process!

There is a 7/11 next door just across the street as well, so very convenient.

Downside is that there are only two combination washer and dryers and they are quite small.

It is about an 6 minute walk or so to the nearest streetcar that heads to Hiroshima station. It's a longer walk to get to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Castle. I recommend using the Sightseeing buses in the area to also get around.

The view from the terrace is great. We were lucky to have great weather, too. They offer a free happy hour and we got cocktails! The room itself was spacious, even compared to North American standards. Would definitely recommend!

Large comfortable room. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the main sites. Everything was great except for two small things: 1) one bedroom light was on a proximity sensor and turned on every time one of us used the bathroom at night time. 2) it would be nice if the room AC went a few degrees cooler for more comfortable sleeping at night time. But these are not deal breakers and I am happy to recommend this hotel!

This was an amazing hotel. Our largest by far of our two week stay in Japan and the every day amenities they offer (coffee, tea, midnight snack) are the cherry on top. The rooms were incredibly clean but more importantly, the hospitality provided by the staff was beyond. My husband ended up needing to see a doctor and they translated our concerns and called ahead to the hospital for us (< 10 minutes walking).

Book your stay here and you won’t regret it!

Even though you only pay for breakfast (which is absolutely delicious), they always have small snacks and drinks for free in the afternoon and free meals in the evening. The communal bath is also recommendable. The hot tubs really help you ease your muscles in the afternoon when you come back from a trip and the coin laundry machines are convenient too. They have so much extra stuff (tooth brushes, soap, hair bands) that you really don't have to bring anything. The rooms are beautiful too and the view from the restaurant is gorgeous...aaaand you can wear yukata-like pyjamas which are really comfy.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Had a lovely large room that had all the facilities I needed and was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was all no problem for them to keep our luggage for the day after we checked out. A great experience and I am happy to recommend. Thank you.

The hotel was great, the check-in was fast, and I got to have my room earlier than stated. The staff spoke decently english. The hotel is just a short walk from the station, 1.5 km, and around the same distance to the ww2 monuments.
There are plenty of services provided here, which you can freely use. There is also a common bath.
The room was nice and good cleaning. I did have a few issues watching the international channels, but that was a minor issue.

Luxe hotel at a great price, big rooms, loved the night offering of 'rice soup', and the opportunity to try the variety of pickles and condiments that seem to be standard in Japanese households. Specialty coffee is standard coffee thermos hot and cold, in case western mindsets are thinking barista capuccino haha. The sento or hot water bath was a great experience too, though I observed many ladies didn't shower before getting in, presumably showered in their hotel bathrooms prior?
Just wish they kept the coffee available during breakfast hours, as most of us don't get up by 7am!

Exceptional! After spending the last week in various average (at best) hotels around Japan, the Hotel Intergate was a wonderful place to recharge! While the location isn't great, it's a pleasant 15 minute walk to either the train or peace park. Staff are welcoming and attentive, free specialty coffee all day, complimentary beer and wine during happy hour. Coin laundry was clean and efficient. Public bath is excellent and a great place to relax. Rooms are large and clean - the best I experienced in all of Japan. Breakfast buffet is great - plenty of options for all tastes.

Excellent quality hotel for the money. Lovely staff. Location is about half way between the station and downtown so either plan for a 30 walk or get a taxi. Rooms are much bigger than most Japanese hotels. Hotel also has 2 washing/drying machines and a communal onsen.
