Esmeralda ~restaurant & bar~

One of my favourite places to grab food in Hayama. Cosy, friendly atmosphere, outdoor seating and nice view. Great fresh produce and tasty food, good for sharing or also little plates for individual. Roasted garlic and salad are my favourite! Owner is so friendly and welcoming, I've been visiting for over 2 yrs!

Really excellent!! Went here on a whim after finishing the beach. Didn’t read up anything or see reviews before and was incredibly pleased how good everything was. Definitely not just some tourist trap at the beach. The food items are interesting, well thought out and perfectly executed.

We really really enjoyed the Mapu Nasu with peaches. They were in season and an amazing combo. Three different types of aubergine!

I’m sometimes on the fence regarding liver but my friend loves it so we got the liver steak and it was perfectly cooked (rare, no residual strong “livery” taste) and exquisite.

Highly recommend it, and looking forward to coming back here if I’m down in the area.

Yummy healthy and fresh. Loved the home made cocktail the server recommended. We all had a great lunch after spending a day in Hayama doing stand up paddle boarding.

Found this place strolling through Hayama and was surprised to see it full. We circled back after a walk on the beach to find a table free. We were welcomed in given a summary of the days specials.
Food was great. Started with hummus with tortilla. The hummus was perfect. Next, we shared a premium curry and steak on rice. The curry was fantastic but the steak was a little fatty and chewy. Could forgive it though for the hot ginger lemonade and mint lemon squash were great.
Really want to try some of the other dishes on the menu now.
Will definitely be back.

The owner is SUPER friendly and funny and the service was top notch. The food itself was really tasty and well worth the money. Will definitely be back!

Food I give 5 stars it was super flavorful and fresh but the wine 🍷 I am not sure. I had just 1 glass and it was regular ok!

葉山にある料理のめちゃくちゃ美味しいお店です。他の方も書かれているようにオーナーのような男性が少し独特の方ですので、合う合わないによって評価が分かれるお店かと思います。私が行った際にはサービスもしてくれましたし、葉山に関するお話もしていただいて、素敵な方だと思いました。是非また行きたいと思っております！

海岸まですぐのロケーションにある真っ白なかわいいレストラン。まるでドラマワンシーンなシチュエーションで気持ちいい光を浴びてブランチは、最高❣
野菜いっぱいスープ、ゴボウのフライは絶品。
また、十勝ハーブ牛ステーキに美味しい！しかない。
フレッシュジュースで乾杯もありあり！

海辺に近いお洒落なレストラン。
シーフードと迷い北見牛入りのカレーを注文しましたが、コクがあってとても美味しかったです。
あいにく雨模様でしたが、次回は晴れた日にまた訪れたい場所でした。
後でお店の名前がEsmeraldaと知り、オーナーさんに名前の由来を尋ねたかったな、とそれだけ残念でした。

カレーもスープもとっても美味しい。季節のお野菜がとにかく美味しく調理されていて、料理もお店の方も優しい。

お野菜が新鮮で有機で安心して食べれます。とても美味しいし、素朴でおしゃれな店内。海のそばの素敵なレストランです。

チャーハン、カレー、ガーリックライス！男子ごはん大好きです！しぼりたてジュースも美味しいし、マスターは気さくに話しかけてくれるので、ローカル、ゲスト誰でも愉しめます。

お料理の感想では無いんですが…本日、道を間違えて中型のバスでお店の前まで迷走してしまいました。立ち往生して困っていたら店主様が声を掛けてくれて誘導までしてくれて…挙げ句の果てに近辺の位置案内までご親切にしてくれて…感謝感謝感激です！！！
とっても素敵な店主様。お店にいたお客様もとっても良い方。。いいお店には素晴らしいお客様が立ち寄るんですね！！

こちらのスープは大好き！芯から暖まります。
季節メニューの牡蠣とベーコンいただきました。とても美味しかったです。
いつもとても気持ちよく食事ができます。

ランチで利用。全体的にやさし目の味付けで、アジアンテイストな料理もハーブや辛みは控えめ。ご飯類はボリューム感あり。スープが新鮮な野菜たっぷりでおいしい。
