Ishikawa Aviation Plaza

I was lucky enough to find this aviation museum. Our family spent a pleasant afternoon. I had a great experience here and learned a lot of valuable knowledge. Looking forward to visiting again next time. Did the earthquake affect you? Hope you are all well. I wish you well from afar. You have to work hard.

Been here to have fun as a family with a kid. Very much enjoyable and probably the child has to be well aged to have passion for aviation. But still enjoyable for those who grown up as well.

There are some modern Japanese military planes on display here, along with a large collection of airplane models that cover the entire history of flight. Also, there is a large flight simulator located here. The part my family liked the best is the huge indoor children's playground. It's probably the best playground in the entire area.

If you kid is a big fan of airplanes and you want him to enjoy it to the fullest at NEVER CROWDED WELL EQUIPPED WITH A WIDE RANGE OF INDOOR ATTRACTIONS AT UNBELIEVABLY LOW COST and you happened to travel along the Ishikawa Prefecture sea coast STOP BY THIS AWESOME! EITHER TODDLE or A TEEN WILL THANK YOU FOR THE TIME Spent THERE

Great educational place to visit with large at area for children. Free entry, handicap and child friendly. Has reserved handicap parking, ramps, and elevator. Must try, the flight simulator operated by experienced pilot for a small fee.

Lots of rare aircrafts in this museum. Aircrafts that is the only one existing in Japan, aircrafts that were hand made by an individual in Japan, and so on. A YS-11 simulator which was used to train actual pilots was there too. If you are bringing kids, there are more simulators upstairs, which may be fun.

Plus, if you like seeing engines in their original place, this is one of the places to find them. It's rare these days!

冬の雨の日曜日で、駐車場待ちが少しありました。誘導するスタッフがいてくれたのと無料だったので良かったです。中に入ると、すぐにYS-11のフライトシミュレーター体験(500円)を予約しました。2時間半後の午後1時からでしたので、その間に実機や展示物を見て回りました。旅客機の発着を指示する管制官の仕事も、無料体験出来て面白かったです。あっと言う間に予約時間が来て、私(機長)と同行者(副機長)が役割分担をして、スタッフに教えて貰いながら離発着を体験しました。車の運転やドローンの操縦と勝手が違い、操縦桿でバンク角を調整しながらの旋回や力加減、着陸時の足による方向調整やブレーキなどで苦労しました。終わると一気に緊張が解けました。次もまた体験してみたいです。
