Location is absolutely fabulous with this hotel. Walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and shopping and linked closely with buses and trams.

The reception on the top floor is also home to the rooftop bar, which hosts some incredible views! However, we did a self-check in when we arrived, which suited us fine.

The rooms were better than expected, with comfy beds and a lovely bathroom! A decent amount of space for luggage.

We were really happy with The Knot Hiroshima, thank you for having us!

Really fantastic stay! We also stayed at The Knot in Shinjuku which was great, but we think Hiroshima is even better. The rooftop bar and check-in on 14th floor is awesome and the 'Knot Coins' you're given at check-in to be able to buy yourself a drink is genius! Each of us got six coins for a two night stay which is enough for a nice cocktail. The room is clean, with modern fittings and seems like good value for money. Also a nice Italian restaurant called More Than on the ground floor if you want to indulge one evening rather than venturing out.

Excellent location for a full day's itinerary for Hiroshima. The hotel rooms are well equipped and very clean. There are complimentary drinks in reception and additional tea and coffee for anyone to take to their rooms. I have to give a massive shout out and a big thank you to Quynh on reception whose customer service was exceptional and went an extra mile to solve a problem we had (not with the Knot) and resolved it with patience and grace.

Probably the best value for your money in the universe. The hotel is amazing, so is the location. The staff is so friendly and nice.

It’s a chic place with a cosmopolitan vibe and striking views from the 14th floor rooftop bar.

You’d pay 3-5X for a similar hotel in Europe or the US.

Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Knot is the most spacious lovely hotels we've ever stayed in, in Japan. Very modern, very cheap. Location is so easy to get around. I thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here (family of four) for one night. The hotel is brand new, with large rooms. Located 300m from the nuke-sites. Highly recommended

I went with my mom who is in her 70s and we had to sort a wheelchair for her to get around. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire experience and saw to our every need. I haven't experienced such good care in 5 star hotels, cant thank the staff enough for amazing care

As with most reviews, the token system does seem quite confusing and unnecessary.

Given 8 tokens upon check-in, but needing to give 2 as an "entrance fee" when you 1st order, why not just give 2 less to begin with? But understandably, the hotel does have to cater to guests of various nationalities flying in to visit Peace Museum and other attractions, so it is difficult to cater to all preferences. Still, a normal welcome drink would have been good enough.

Other than that, checking in on the highest floor does seem peculiar when most establishments do it on the ground floor. 3 lifts 🛗 don't seem to run quick enough for all guests and levels. Neither do 3 washing machines in the laundry room 🧺 which were perpetually full.

If you're allergic / don't like eggs, better to skip the "buffet breakfast". It's not exactly a buffet - more like an option between 3 differently cooked egg 🥚 dishes.

But overall, beds were comfortable and there was a decent amount of space in the room. Amenities were sufficient and clean.

Staff did their best to respond too (took a while to replace a leaky electric kettle) to various requests. But it does seem that they're bearing the unfair brunt of the whole token system which management dreamt up, so gotta give them props for trying.

Don't let the price fool you this place is great. Rooms are clean and spacious great service. I have no idea why they have a coin system for the bar, it makes absolutely no sense to me. Would stay again.

Very nice. Clean and modern. Rooms were a good size for Japan. Location was great to visit the memorial park.
Nice restaurant under the hotel which is privately owned. Nice menu and reasonable rice's. Has great coffee but no tea, also a room safe.

Very modern and fun place to stay. The rooftop bar was a nice atmosphere where they made great drinks and had nice little snacks for the guests. They had some weird token system to purchase them which I didn't fully understand but it was good regardless. This is walkable to the Hiroshima museum and memorial and not too far from transit

We stayed just for one night and were sad to leave. Hotel is great, staff very welcoming and helpful, location also very good just a few min away from memorial park. Room was big, comfortable and view was great.

We loved everything about this little niche hotel. The service was streamlined and efficient, the rooms are compact but had all the basic necessities with additional amenities available. Multiple usb points by the beds as well as by the safe made keeping me powered was convenient The beds were comfortable and the room temperature adjustable. We had a lovely view of the Peace Park. Breakfast was excellent as were the meals we took in the restaurant More Than on the ground floor. Great buzzy and trendy atmosphere with a mix of hotel clients and locals. Staff were super friendly and helpful too. And we loved the bathrobes! Super comfy to lounge in. We would have even loved to buy a couple. It's a definite thumbs up from us.

I liked this hotel. The views from the hotel are really good. It is relatively easy to get to from the main train station to the hotel. The rooms are clean. I not a fan of carpet in hotels but the floors are clean. The beds are comfortable. The plumbing is good. The hotel restaurant is really good for all of the meals that you may want during the day, the dishes are well proportioned and well priced. The facilities have laundry machines on site and if they are occupied, there are 2 laundry mats within walking distance of the hotel. I only stayed in Hiroshima for a couple of days. This hotel served my needs.

5 star hotel imo.

Excellent location. And really cool vibe. If you like an urban hotel, this is the way to go.

We stayed in a single queen bed with no view, no breakfast since we were just staying for a night. It was very affordable and the location was convenient (close to the peace memorial). Easy to get there from the station via the tram/bus. It is a modern hotel and pretty comparable to typical western hotels.

Logistics:
They can keep your luggage for you if you get there early, or you can even ship your luggage there. They had the room ready so we were able to check in early. It doesn't seem like they accommodate late checkout, though (didn't ask but they specifically mentioned it). You pay upfront and just drop the key in the elevator to check out.

Stoked to be on the 13th floor with fantastic view. Room, staff, location all fantastic. As we had a triple room it was quite squishy and the hallway smelled of stale smoke. Still giving 5 stars as we were so happy with the high floor, view, and coins for free drinks! Great price too!

Excellent value and location. Very modern hotel a few mins walk from the peace museum and park. Great rooftop bar and lounge with views over the city and park. Rooms and bathroom were quite basic but comfortable with nice touches like the Japanese robe/pajamas. Overall everything was better than expected for the price.
