Some great art collections inside a stunning architectural masterpiece by Riken Yamamoto.

Sometimes the building can be worth a visit on its own rights, and that’s certainly the case with this stunning art museum.

Wow :) this was truly a wonderful experience. A beautiful building located in a stunning spot. I loved the top viewing deck, plus the little space inside on top with the free high power viewing lens. And down the spiral staricase to see the wonderful interior, and admire all the little viewing portals cut into the building. Truly a wonderful feeling to walk around here and enjoy the space, and the work on display. I LOVED the Taniuch Pavilion, very unexptected to walk through the gallery and discover yet another small galley inside a small exterior room :))
Such a joy to visit, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience, a great gift shop, and very reasonable admission price !! <3

Nice location. The museum is located by the sea. Beautiful architecture, great space arrangement inside. There’s a lovely cafe where you can sit and enjoy the sea view.

Great staff and the Ghibli Exhibition was amazing. Everything was in Japanese but we got to use Google Translate.

Lovely museum. Nice cafe but long waiting list. We ate at the small food truck next to the cafe. Margharita pizza and the salmon sandwhich was delicious! Be aware that pizza in Japan has softer dough but is flavorful.

The view is very beautiful, also u can enjoin ur lunch or dinner here. It's very relaxing~
And the exhibition here is also amazing and talented.

Impressive collection. The permanent exhibit was expansive and varied. (At 300 yen the admission is a bargain!)

Beautiful facility with high ceilings, expansive galleries, and an Italian restaurant on site.

Well worth the short bus ride from downtown!

Underrated museum on the coast of Yokosuka, after the exhibit you can go to the rooftop and enjoy a serene view of the ocean and plenty of walking trails to enjoy the nature

I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the collection. The view from the museum is breathtaking, and the special exhibits rotate regularly, so I will definitely visit again.

Perfect spot for a museum. After looking at the exhibition you can stroll along the sea. Reasonably priced parking is also available.

What a fascinating architecture! You can see poetry and picturesque ocean with a moving ship over a circle type of window. It’s absolutely stunning!

Unexpectedly it was good, though we just droped by to kill time. You can enjoy the permanent exhibition and the Italian restaurant.

300 yen for some pretty good art. Love the sculpture of the animals the most.

I love the restaurant here. It has such a beautiful view!! The food is amazing too!
