本堂は国指定重要文化財になっています。
西暦1257年の建立との事です。
五間四方の立派な本堂です。
圓光寺にはもうひとつ、重文があります。
石造九重塔です。説明文などは設置されていませんが、本堂前の九重塔がそれだと思います。
