Niigata Science Museum

Visited here when Pokémon Fossil Museum was held and I must commend the staff of this museum for being professional, accommodating! Keep up the good work. Facilities like elevator, toilet and hallways are spotless. :-)

Went there for Pokémon exhibition. They really put a lot of thought in making the event informative for kids as well as adults. The whole museum is really fun and can easily spend whole day.

Excellent science museum. It needs at least one whole day to be visited it properly. Very child-friendly, but that is not necessarily a bad thing if you are a grown-up, since scientific understanding can be quite heavy-going for anybody. I do not recommend paying the extra charge to access the planetarium unless your Japanese is good. Do not miss the views from the open-air rooftop -even though the building only has 4 floors, it is a great 360-degree vantage point.

This was a nice science museum to visit. Many scientific topics displayed from astronomy, to robotics, biology and more. There's also a nice little planetarium. It's about 200 yen extra for a 30 minute show (in Japanese, but easy to follow the night sky). Great hands on for kids too. There's also an outside component for larger artifacts and the roof is great for sights around on a clear day.

Museum is accessible by bus. I managed to walk it in 30 minutes. admission is around 600 yen, limited time exhibits are extra.

It’s a delightful outing of exploration, adventure and wonder. The staffs are also dedicated and hard working. The events they have are fun themed and amazing. Great place.Free parking.

An amazing science center we spent hours there. Very hands on we all loved it.

Great science museum! One of the best iv been too! Even though there isn't much English, there are so many practical, hands on exhibits to enjoy, even if you don't understand Japanese, I couldn't recommend it more if you want to learn something new, which you definitely will!

Lots to see and do. The dinosaur show was great for the kids.

新潟駅からバスを使いました。
もっと、本数あればいいのですが、しょうがないですね。
入場券は、マイナンバーカードの提示で半額になりましたよ。
お得な気分で中を見て周る事が出来ました。
そして、流石に中の内容は勉強になって素晴らしい。
体験型も多く、早速試しました。
空想科学的なオブジェも、センスがあって好き。
大人から、子供まで楽しめますね。
今回、レストランは見送りましたが、ミートソースに魅かれました（笑）
屋外も、広くて良いですね。

久し振りに訪れました。
20年振り位ですが展示物はほぼ変わらず、その変わらないところが良いんです。
昔を思い出させてもらいました。
こういう場所って必要だと思います。
