You can enjoy coffee and bring some books to your seats without purchasing books. Also, you can plug in your devices at some of the tables and they have Wi-Fi at this cafe too.
After evening on weekdays is the best. Otherwise, it’s crowded.

I was traveling in Japan and stumbled upon Tsutaya Books, Cafe, and store. Despite some of the reviews here, I think this place is really a gem. Back in the states, Barnes and Nobles, Borders, and most bookstores are rare, so to have a physical bookstore where you can shop around do some fun reading, and shop gifts for others is so great. Starbucks is inside and it's a huge space with lots of tables and chairs. I am so glad I found it. Besides books, they have gifts, toys, grocery bags you can purchase to re-use, etc. I love this place and it's quiet. They have self check out, unfortunately I don't think they have it in English, but there was a cashier to help you out. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area to look for a place to have coffee, do some reading, or bring your laptop to do some work. They don't have any English books, but they have little things you can buy if you need to get a gift for yourself or a friend/family.

Tsutaya is a book/media store, but people are mostly here for the cafe section which is more than half of the building.

This is where everyone hangs out to study, work, and eat. Minato Mirai Station, Exit #1 then walk across the street.

It's really difficult to get a seat here. It's almost always crowded. Don't bother on a weekend. I saw people standing around just waiting like it's a packed parking lot. There are plenty of cafe's around (Saint Marc, Tully's, another Starbucks, etc), but people love the environment here.

Nice bookstore next to the Starbucks. There are seats to sit down and skim books. There are no english books but they have a nice collection of novels in japanese and many childrens books, also some stationery and scarves, cups, home decorations etc.

Very big and relatively new. Has a Starbucks in the bookstore for u to enjoy your books... If u found what u need, go out and enjoy the surrounding area. Nice place to explore... Has several big department store malls near by.

Starbucks staffs are so nice, i got 2 Daruma mugs from here and the staffs tried to compliment us so well. Thank you so much :)

Books and magazines galore. There is also a children's books section. Craving for coffee, Starbucks is inside.

Variety of books, cd's to fill my shopping criteria. Great place to have coffee and browse a book.

Very well organised and wide selection of books. Worth to visit to get a local flair of japanese culture and literature

I didn't know it was a library, but they have a ton of stuff, a lot of it very rare stuff and they were very nice and helpful

Starbucks coffe, books , relax

本がたくさんあり、いるだけでインスピレーションが沸きます。併設されているスタバの定員さんも優しいです。休日はみなとみらいは混むので、平日がおすすめ。
窓側は天井が高く気持ちが良いです。

広くてゆっくり本が読めます。スターバックスがあるのでコーヒーとドーナツを食べながら本を読んで過ごすことができます。2階にはキノシネマもありますので映画の入場時間までここでゆっくり過ごせます。

みなとみらいは空間が贅沢。
思わず長時間いたくなっちゃう。。

みなとみらいにある本屋さん。深夜まで営業しているのが嬉しい。ゆっくり座って本を読めるのでじっくり時間を掛けて選びたい方には特にオススメ。ちょっと暇潰し、のつもりが何冊も買ってしまう事も……。スターバックスが併設しているのでこちらでも本を読めます。

本の品揃えが良い。
お店も広く、店舗前の景色は最高！

近くにはイルミネーションもあり、家族、カップルが多くいてとても良い雰囲気の場所だと思います。

本はもちろんのこと、文具も筆記具を中心にTSUTAYAさんにしては品揃えが豊富なので驚きました。

売れ筋、話題の新刊書を上手く目立つように陳列してありますので手早く買い物を済ませたい時に便利ですし助かります。

学参類は中学受験までしかありません。

スターバックスと隣合っていてビル内で繋がっておりますので、いちいち外に出ることなく飲み物が買いに行ける構造になっているのも便利です。

地下駐車場は50台くらいのスペース(立体含む)で、TSUTAYAとスタバでの買物合算可というのが良いでね。
