Lamp no Yado Ryokan

Absolutely amazing. 10/10 in every way. They pick you up on the cliffside and drive you down to the Ryokan at check-in time. Everything is traditional Japanese and the property is simply beautiful. Private hot spring bath on the balcony in my room.

I was treated with the utmost respect, and their customer service, down to the last staff member, was exceptional.

Dinner was an 8 course, curated meal by the chef. Included the most amazing local delicacies, as well as the chef's twist on traditional Japanese fare. Breakfast was very similar.

Both were served in my room, and Han, my server/hostess was amazing. Absolutely glowing review for her!

Wish I would have been able to spend more time at this property; it was the best place I stayed at in Japan and worth every dollar.

We booked this extraordinary onsen hotel for birthday celebration. Service was excellent provided by the receptionist Hang. She was doing an excellent job from welcoming greeting to check out. She explains every single dish on the table during dinner time. A surprise gift was prepared and given to me at the end of dinner.
The dinner menu was well organized from the appetizers to the dessert. Overall experience was outstanding.

Exquisite dinner. You get dishes and local produce that you wouldn’t get elsewhere.

Most comfortable bed I slept on for days. Love their pillows that seem to be filled with grains. Provided very good support for the neck. Mattress was firm and comfortable too. Best rest I have had Amon the Ryokan.

It caters to the well heeled but you get the value you pay for. Highly recommended.

This onsen hotel is rather remote, it locates at the tip of Noto peninsula and not easy to get there even for locals. But it worth to make a trip there if you wish to have a true getaway at a quiet place with spectacular view.

When arrived at the bus stop along the main road and greeted by hotel staff, you will be amazed when he take you a ride with a small van through a downslope path, using the van's back to move forward!

Food is superb with seasonal ingredients, service is excellent.

Remember to take a walk around the hotel at night. The lighting is wonderful and gives you a comfortable ambience. As said by the hotel name "Inn of Lamp"!

Just right outside of the town, hence quieter. Have 3 onsen pool, small but nice. Common area available for anything meal if u buy back from lawson next to it.

This hotel (ryokan onsen, that is to say, traditional Japanese hotel with hot springs baths) is a bit out of the way, and it takes some effort to get here, but it is definitely worth the trip. Both the rooms and the baths put you right at the crashing surf line. I was here in the winter, and actually sat outside in the hot springs bath, after dark, with the snow falling around me. That was a remarkable experience. Probably coming here in the summer time is also a remarkable experience.

The closest large city is Kanazawa. So you need to take a train to Kanazawa, then a bus, then a taxi, unless you have rented a car.

The staff attentiveness was amazing! They catered to all our needs and answered any and all questions we had. The private two story rooms had amazing views and the traditional Japanese rooms we're amazing.

You can see so nice beacutiful view, and amazing place.
I was so exectied.
And this place staff speak English very good.
Some tourist people also was glad to then.
My most recomend place is in Japan.

I lost my charger in the hotel. But Staff send it to my next hotel immediately! What a great service it is! It has a wonderful hot spring and sea view in this hotel! I’ll come back next vacation! Thank you!

The location was beautiful. The service and staff was so accommodating and nice. The rooms are nice and showcases the Japanese culture well.

に泊まりました。
私はバスで行ったのでバス停から宿まで送迎してくれました。これがほんとに助かりました。また、お部屋に半露天風呂があったのでこれが凄く良く、配置もよく気持ちのいい温泉旅となりました。
とても贅沢な一日を過ごすことができました。あのロケーションに宿があるのが信じられないです。冬の荒波を間近で見ながら温泉に浸かるとただただ凄いなと無心になれます。一度は行くべき宿です。

言葉を失う絶景。夢を見ているみたいな空間体験でした。夜のライトアップに、照らされた日本海。とにかく圧巻でした。宿のスタッフさんも、気さくで丁度良い対応で、お料理は、特に食材自体が、高級では無かったですが丁寧に調理、提供されている感じを受けて、大満足でした。凄く印象に強く残るお宿でした。自宅から740キロですが、また、行きたいです。

8月中旬〜下旬に利用させて頂きました。
能登半島の先端にあるだけあって透き通る海や自然豊かなロケーションでした。

部屋の数が少ないのもあって他の宿泊者と遭遇する場面も少なく、とにかくのんびりと過ごせます。部屋からの景色も周囲の目から隔離出来るよう計算された配置なのでしょうね。貸切に近いようなプライベート空間を満喫出来ます。

お料理もとても満足出来ましたし、スタッフさんの細かな気遣いもあって本当に行ってよかったと思えるところでした。
プレミアム朝食は圧巻でした！！

また再訪したいです。

七月末から八月頭まで一泊二日でお世話になりました。

宿に行くまでの道中はかなり時間がかかりますが、景色が綺麗でとっても癒されました。
車は宿の上に駐車し、宿までは車で送迎して頂きました。運転手さんの運転がお上手すぎて驚きました。
チェックインはお部屋でしていただけます。

お部屋からの景色、お料理、サービス共に最高で、とても良い思い出になりました。
お料理は地元の物を使用した懐石料理を頂きましたが本当に美味しくて、帰っても真似できるように写真を撮らせて頂きました。
料理長おすすめの日本酒飲み比べも美味しくて、帰り際酒屋さんに寄って買って帰りました。

お部屋は離れのお部屋でした。声が聞こえることもなく、のんびり過ごせました。
朝方部屋の温泉へ入ろうと思ったら漁船が沖の方にいましたので、入浴される際はロールカーテンを下ろして入られた方が良いかと思います💦
お食事は別室へ案内されますが、そちらも個室でご用意いただけたので周りを気にせず過ごせました。(お食事のお部屋は壁が薄く声が聞こえてました)

カフェスペースで飲み物を頂きながらチェックアウトし、目の前まで送迎車が迎えに来てくれました。

大人しか泊まれない宿なので、ゆっくり大切な方と過ごされたい方にはピッタリだと思います。
是非またお世話になりたい素敵な場所でした。

部屋にテレビがないことを知らず、チェックインの後にテレビを探しました。笑
テレビがないなんてどうやって過ごせば良いのか…と最初は思いましたが、結果テレビなくて大満足です。
波の打つ音や虫の鳴く音など自然の音を身近に感じながら雄大さを感じながらゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができました。
食事も全て美味しい！最高すぎました。シェフの名前を覚えてしまうほどに。主人が誕生日ケーキもプランに組み込んでくれたのですが、ケーキまで美味しくペロリと頂いてしまいました。
スタッフさんの接遇も最高でした。
温泉に関しても部屋に温泉がついていましたが、大浴場も最高で、大浴場があまり好きでない主人が「もう一度大浴場に行こうよ！」と言うほど大浴場も素晴らしかったです。
残念ながら妊婦のためしばらく伺うことができなくなりますが、子どもが大きくなったら夫婦2人でまた来ようね、と話すほど良かったです。
この度は素敵な滞在をサポートしてくださりありがとうございました。

部屋のお風呂は24h適温でアメニティも充実、凄く気持ちが良かった。食事もとても良い素材と良い味です。
部屋からの眺めが良く夜はちょうどスーパームーンを眺め朝は朝日が海から登るを見れました。

6/29.30に波の離宮に泊まらせていただきました。
名古屋市から車で自走で行きましたが5時間超かかりました。同郷の方は運転に自信がある方を除き、無理せず公共交通機関をお勧めいたします。

到着してからチェックインまでに時間があったので青の洞窟へ。宿泊客である旨をお伝えすると500円/人　値引きをしていただけます。
パワースポットにて英気を養い、ラウンジにて小休止をしているとチェックインの時間に。崖下に見えていた宿まで徒歩で降りるのかと思っていましたがアルファードにて迎えにきていただけました。
荷物が少々多かった私達は2往復かな。なんて思っていたのでとても有り難かったです。

宿に到着すると天吊りのランプが沢山ないい意味で期待通りな雰囲気。
客室も木造で古き良き日本の民家なつくりで落ち着く素敵な空間で、清掃も行き届いており大満足でした。
客室露天風呂は常に循環している温泉で温度も快適、オーシャンビュー。強いて文句をつけるのであれば他の方もクチコミに入れてみえますがバスタオルの吸水性が悪すぎることでしょうか。笑
虫は突然多いです。地域柄仕方ないと割り切るしかありません。
食事も美味しいですしリピートしたいと思います。
