Checked out this station to see how a Japanese station outside of the busy Tokyo area was like. Also because I was going to hitchhike out of Tokyo from Tsusure. And man did it feel quite rural. When I went, there wasn't a ton of people on board, or near the platform when I arrived. The surrounding areas were also quiet quiet. Felt like I was definitely transported out of Tokyo and near the countryside.

Similar to, I guess, Joetsu, if you've been there. Not bad, just different. Its crazy too since its not that far at all from central Tokyo, yet it feels so different.
