Takahashi Dental Clinic

If you are looking for English English-speaking dental clinic, go to this one. This may be my first clinic but they treat me well. The staff are kind and accommodating. Doctor Takahashi really explains every procedure and problem of your teeth. It's not common in my country that’s why.

Was here for a holiday and had a gum that was swollen and hurting. Looked around for an English speaking dental clinic and found Dr. Takahashi. Him and his staff were extremely professional and friendly! Dr. Takahashi was very detailed in explaining what was causing the swelling of the gums. If you’re looking for an English speaking dental office in Japan, Dr Takahashi would be an excellent choice.

Hi. This is really a great place. It has an English speaking dentist and some staff speak English as well. Really friendly and keeps you well informed. Not like in Australia where they treat you like cattle. I love how there was privacy among patients.(Separate rooms for patients ) . NO PAIN and I’m a cry baby when it comes to pain. I’ve been to him twice now. I had a cleaning, one filling and replaced to old metal fillings and got a mouth guard. He accepts national health fund ,But he does accept some travel or overseas insurance as well. Just check with him. Oh yeah NO PAIN !!!! Staff are really friendly and The dentist is fluent. It’s a shame I have to leave Japan or else I would definitely go every 6 months for a check. It’s worth the trip.

Reasonable price. Came to the clinic for some major treatments. I was at first quite reluctant due to my past experiences elsewhere, and my limited Japanese. But very soon I felt rest assured to learn how pleasant Dr. Takahashi is. He explained all the procedures patiently and respectfully, in English. The treatments carried out gently and I felt comfortable throughout. Definitely going to come back for some routine cleaning and checkups.

My experience of using the Takahashi Dental Practice was first rate.
The dentist speaks excellent English and was very welcoming. Everything was explained thoroughly and my check up and clean was performed to a very high standard.
I felt really well looked after and will definitely be re-visiting for my future appointments.

Was really nervous about finding an making a dentist appointment in Japan with my limited Japanese language skills. That was until I found this clinic! Dr. Takahashi and his staff are so kind and speak great English. I have now been twice and each experience was fabulous. I highly recommend for everyone, especially those who are worried about language barriers and your health care. That will not be a worry here! Thanks again to Dr. Takahashi and his staff! Dr. Takahashi is very attentive and informative during checkups and treatments, and he makes his patients feel comfortable communicating their concerns.

I've been getting my TMD treated here, and saw significant improvement with my symptoms even after the first visit (every case is different, but I feel like I'm in good hands).

The cleaning of my teeth was the most painless and clean I have ever had.
If you make an appointment, you will not have to wait long to be seen.

In addition to the accurate examinations, the doctors are very personable and are the best dentists I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

I do not typically write reviews on Google, but this is an exception.
I have had terrible experiences with dentists in Japan and from now on I will travel up to two hours to see Dr. Takahashi.
He is a fantastic dentist with a lot of patience and understanding; speaks fluent English - as well as his dental hygienist.
They listen to your concerns and tell you in a step-by-step and factual manner before doing any work on your teeth. He accepts national health insurance too.
10/10 would recommend.

Think I found my forever dentist in Japan. Having lived here for almost 8 years I always struggled to find the right doctor and dentist. I can speak some Japanese but still find it hard to express my medical concerns. Dr Takahashi speaks fluent English. He kept me well informed and told me about his recommendation and the reason behind it. In other clinics, it always felt like a revolving door - they would ask you to come back for multiple 15-minute procedures.

However, I came here once and got my concerns fixed - wobbly bridge that no other doctor wanted to touch or deal with. Other doctors were also critical of my bridge that I’ve had done abroad. Dr Takahashi was friendly, open, listened first and explained everything clearly. I am definitely coming back here.

The dentist and dental hygienist are so friendly. The staff are very nice too. I always have a great experience everytime I have an appointment with them. Highly recommended.

Difficult to find good and English speaking dentist.

小さい頃から虫歯になりやすく、引っ越す度様々な歯医者に行きましたがこちらが一番です。
丁寧で確実、そして痛みがない(歯医者通いが多い私にはここ重要)上にとても早く終わるので歯医者に対する恐怖心がなくなりました。
