Wanted to get some 洋食 before my trip ends and found this claiming to be the best in Nagoya.

They really are.

First off, the 24 year old chap was super attentive, offering to hang my down jacket . Service was amicable

Ordered the double cheese burger cos why not , most sinful. The patty was thick af, the sauce and the cheese was magical. Top it off with the signature lettuce here, thick and refreshing as well. My mouth can’t bite it all.

For the sides, I had their coleslaw and fried potatoes. Had a small chat with them and realized they used maple syrup and honey to make the coleslaw. Definitely a refreshing combination, make sure to try it.

I went here for lunch with friends a few months ago. I saw that it had lots of 5 star reviews and was regarded as one of the best burger places in Nagoya….and after eating there myself I have to agree.

I ordered their most popular hamburger and fries set and it was overall really delicious. The burger was large and full of flavour, the chips were roasted nicely but still soft and the additional salad and cheese sauce were very nice too.

It’s slightly more expensive than most other burger restaurants but the additional cost is worth it.

One tip, they ask for payment in advance and only accept card so be sure to carry a credit or debit card.

Overall one of the best burgers I have had in Japan. Recommended if you are looking for a good burger.

The burgers haven't change in their exceptional quality or quantity. However, two years ago I hadn't tried many of their side dishes. That has been rectified. And unfortunately the recommendation is to not order side dishes. None of them. The potatoes are half wedges that just seem to lack enough flavor to be interesting. The mash potato is even worse and is just plain old boring. The onion rings are obviously carefully prepared and then destroyed at the end by being oily. And the finally the coleslaw is... well... nothing but a disaster.
Stick with the basics. A burger and a beer.

Let's get to the point. This is one of the best burger joints in Nagoya. It is also one of the best in Japan, and I'm going with the world. It's in my top 10 list of go to burgers.
I have been coming to this shop on and off for just on a decade. For some reason, just never got around to writing a review. And a little embarrassed to say, that I have lived within a 3 minute walk for the last 4 years.
Today (2 Aug, 2021) I once again, wondered on over to see if there was a queue. There wasn't, which was a surprising considering it was 12:10PM on a Monday. Usually there's a bit of a wait. Side note: On weekends there is a line before lunch opening.

This month's (August 2021) lunch special burger has a topping of miso infused beef, Coriander (cilantro for the US folks) and sour cream. That's on top of the regular burger. A delectable combination. I added the sliced pickles under the patty, on top of the tomato slice, and it was absolute perfection. Beware, this is a juicy burger. You will need to use the burger wrap paper and be careful not to drip the sauce onto yourself.

I quite enjoyed this delightful establishment. The menu was extremely appetizing. I finally decided upon the black & blue burger, which was mouth watering and cooked to perfection. Furthermore, the atmosphere of the the restaurant was relaxing and peaceful. Good music, leather sofas & chairs. I am really satisfied with my experience.

Really great restaurant with a nice chill atmosphere and friendly staff. I tried the garlic cheese burger set and it was fantastic! The burger itself was great and the side salad was very nice! The fried potatoes with the cheese were absolutely amazing! 🔥🔥🔥

In from the USA and I haven't had a good burger in a long time! It was so refreshing to have a Dr Pepper and this monster cheese burger! If you are in Nagoya and starved for a bite of home definitely check out this restaurant ! Its a tiny little gem of a place!

I really liked the burger here. The beef patty has seasoning which tasted great and the flavour of the bacon as it combine with the beef and onion sauce was delicious. My favorite burger place in Japan, will visit again when in nagoya.

I am a woman of many burgers and, frankly, I wasn't too sure of what to expect from a little, unassuming, Americana-themed burger joint on the corner of a quiet street in Japan.

Well, wow. Lovely service (even though we arrived on the cusp of last-orders at lunch), and simply wonderful burgers that could have rivalled any I've had in the UK or the US. The patties were fresh, soft and perfectly cooked, while the chips and salad were delicious sides.

The restaurant itself was cozy and quiet, and I would absolutely recommend a visit if you're craving "proper" burgers.

One of the best burgers I have ever had, perfectly grilled. Also, some excellent Japanese craft beer available. Service was very good and the menu has English. Very warm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This burger joint was recommend to by a friend well worth the visit & popular little place. With great hamburgers & cold beer great vaule I will come back again.

I’ve been coming here for years, and if you live in Nagoya, you know it’s the best burger bar in town.

The burgers are of course amazing (I had the Mexican burger today, a little kick, but by no means too strong) and the onion rings are the best. But I love this place for the atmosphere. Relaxed, cool, with great soul tunes overhead.

Good beer selection too. I had a Negra Modelo to match my burger, but there are loads from around the world to choose from.

Oh, and English language menus as well.

World class burgers with a great variety of toppings to choose from. Veggies were fresh, patty juicy, and bun just perfect.

Burgers were so good that I had to order two. It may take awhile for you to get your food but the wait is definitely worth it. You'll get an American style burger on really good bread. The ingredients are all high quality and the staff is friendly. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere and good music. Make sure to go when you're hungry so you can justify ordering more food than necessary.

I got the Taco Rice and was pleasantly surprised! Rice wasn't Japanese rice, which threw me off because that's what is normally used, and it was SUPER delicious. I will totally be ordering that again. ごちそうさまでした!

This is a hidden gem about 10-15 minutes walk from Nagoya station. The restaurant is quite popular with locals so expect to wait. The burgers are excellent quality. Good selection of drinks available also. Only draw back is that there isn’t really anything else nearby to the store.

Best burger I’ve ever had in Japan! Beef patty is like juicy beef steak itself. The sides are all handmade and really great taste.

To get the happy hour discount, you need to pay by cash.

Everyone knows this is the best burger joint in Nagoya. Add to the fact that they have an excellent selection of beers and it is a winning combination. Located convenient to Nagoya station or Nagoya International Center. Great staff and fast service. Ideal for lunch.

The corner special burger is tremendously tasty! Worth eating it!
