T's Texas BBQ Japan

When I arrived at the parking lot I could just smell the savory smoke in the air. I knew I was at the right place. Takeshi, the pit master, was cooking up something good. There were quite a few things on the menu. I wish I could have tried them all but that gives me a good reason to come back the next time I pass through this area. I ordered a pulled pork sandwiches and the beef brisket along with some fries and a smoked sausage. All of the meat was juicy and tender. The smoke rings were visible on the brisket. The sausage had a nice texture (the meat was not overground). I left there full and happy. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Fantastic bbq! I'd recommend trying out the brisket don, it was a really cool combination of Texas bbq and Japanese food! Tacos and sausage are great as well.

If this weren't food, I would have framed it and hung it on my wall! The food here is a work of art - glorious!!

My first time here I ordered takeout to share with my family and even after the 20 min. trip to get home the food was still so amazing!

I grabbed the soft taco from the Texmex Plate and it delivered! A beautiful mix of seasoned meat, lettuce, sauce and fresh onions. Delightful!

The potato salad mixed in with the pulled pork sandwich - inspired!! The potato wedges? Perfectly seasoned; not over-seasoned. Even the ketchup was a nice surprise for its tomato flavor more than a sugary one.

This is certainly a niche restaurant here in Japan and the owner could easily charge twice what he does. But he has a greater vision than that; he wants to share the food he loves with as many people as he can.

7 Stars! Probably the best and most authentic BBQ in Japan. The pulled pork was probably the best I have ever had. The tacos were excellent and the briskit was sensational, melted in your mouth. The master was very kind and was very welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back for sure!

“Welcome to Texas!”, greets master chef Takeshi as he serves my order. He has done an amazing job to bring a taste of Texas to Japan. The Tex-Mex plate is good to try everything. But the hidden gems are the pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich. At ¥1,000 it’s a bargain compared to other gourmet burgers that I’ve had at nearly double the price and nowhere near the quality. Come for the food, stay for the hospitality as Takeshi is as nice as he is awesome on the grill.

This is what good eating is about: eating good food that’s skilfully made in a comfortable environment where there great people around to share the eating experience with.

This was a good taste of Western-style BBQ. Takahashi delivered great service. The ambiance is low-key but effective. The pulled pork is good. Wanna go back for the steak. 👌🏾

Traveled here all the way from Tokyo and wasn't dissapointed. We had to take 2 trains and a bus to get there but it was worth the trip. Really good brisket. 👍

The burger I got was 1600 yen but there were cheaper options at 1000 yen

The brisket is the highlight of the menu, so we tried two recommendations - the brisket sandwich and the Cuban-style sandwich (it’s not actually a cubano so don’t get it confused). Both sandwiches were filling without feeling like it was too much food. Prices are very reasonable, average 1500 per person or so, a bit more with drinks.
We also sampled the pulled pork and the sausage, both are excellent choices besides the brisket. Basically everything we tried on the menu was great.
Also managed to chat with Takeshi-san a bit during our visit. He’s extremely down-to-earth, friendly, just a great personality running an excellent shop.
It’s probably best to get here by car since I’m not sure public transport will get you here very easily, but it was absolutely worth taking the trip. Will definitely be back.

Small little smoke shack just outside Narita proper. Decided to visit this spot on my last night in Japan and I'm soo glad I did. The owner Takeshi is a very nice man who cooks up some awesome bbq. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it's probably the best I've had and that's saying something. Price is amazing fir what you're getting. If you're in town you've got to check this place out. I will be back the next time I visit Japan!

Fire spot for some texas bbq. Haven’t had anything like it in Japan. Highly recommend coming from a texas citizen.

Amazing Texas BBQ place cooked by a cook master studied in Dallas. Great atmosphere that I almost felt like I was in Texas!

Really cool and unique place. The owner and cook trained in Texas so the barbecue food is very authentic. They also have some Texas and Mexican beers available. This restaurant is very small, but there is lots of seating available as it’s in a shared space with many other small restaurants. The whole area is really cool and a great place to hang out.

I really enjoyed the brisket and barbecue chicken with sausage it was very authentic as in my hometown in Texas
