Michigan Cruise (Otsu Port / Lake Biwa Kisen)

This was a really great little tourist experience. The steam boat is beautiful and had four eating/restaurant options on board. The staff were dressed up and acted, sung and danced. The 60 minute cruise around Lake Biwa was fun.

This place is like an old version of HongKong. This place is so peaceful and comfy. Strongly recommend!!!

Recommended tour ride. The lunch buffet is just so-so and more about the experience of dining in the ship than the actual taste of the food. It's a pity that the ship only explores like a quarter of the whole lake but it's worth the experience.

An enjoyable ferry ride around the Southern end of Lake Biwa. Stay away from people feeding seagulls!

There's water show every night, ride down bicycle to there from hotel is really amazing experience.

You can board a Lake Biwa cruise. There was a nice restaurant on board and I had breakfast, it was very delicious using local ingredients.
The weather was bad that day, so it was ridiculous compared to the size of the ship because there were only two customers, me and my mother, but 　their professional service was very good. I felt like I was a millionaire and rented a ship.　If you want to feel like a millionaire, you may dare to choose a bad day.

Otsu port is very famous to both local and foreign tourist. The surroundings are amazing. There are beach view small shops. The cruise named Michigan is fantastic. One must experience the cruise ship to enjoy the lake bewa at fullest.

The cruises from here seem very romantic. The view from this port is amazing. There are a lot of gift stores and the air is clean and refreshing.
