Puja Curry Restaurant

I never expected to find some of the best Indian curry I’ve ever had in my life in Sasebo, Japan of all places! I’ve lived in a lot of ethnically diverse cities with lots of Indian restaurants, and Puja Curry is one of the best I’ve ever been to. Their naan is phenomenal, curry is flavorful and delicious, and the owners are extremely kind and hospitable. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

My husband and I came across this great restaurant on our way to the grocery store! They have a great lunch special, the service was friendly and
the food is delicious! The soup and salad was great but the curry itself was the best! I had the spinach curry and my husband had butter chicken curry. They were both delicious and filled us up! Next time we are thinking of going up on the spice😁

Puja is a great place for lunch, dinner, or special events! They have a great lunch set. The butter chicken curry and pumpkin curry are great and the basil naan is delicious. They do take out as well. The service is great and they have also catered special events for work as well. Conveniently located in Ginza. Definitely recommend!!!

I got the tandoori chicken, nan, and the chicken tiki masala (spicy level 7.)
It was AWESOME!
I spent a lot of time in the Middle East and found this restaurant to be extremely authentic. 10/10 recommend.

The best Indian restaurant in Sasebo in Price, taste and ambience. It is far better than other Indian restaurants around there. They serve delicious Naan and curries. The manager and workers are also super friendly and welcoming.

This place is so delicious. I've eaten a lot of Indian food in a lot of places and Puja is one of my favorites. Everything is consistently marvelous. My favorite is their spinach chicken curry. Yum! Plus, you are always greeted with a smile and quick service.

Excellent indian restaurant with the normal Japanese emphasis on curry specific dishes. The naan is outstanding, and I suggest the Chicken Tikka Masala. This is actually a recipe invented in Great Britain, but it is very hard to find in Japan. Service is superb.

It’s where we go when we need some warming comfort food. All the curries we’ve tried have been delicious. The samosa are melt in you mouth fabulous.

No problem if you don’t speak much Japanese as the restaurant is also English friendly.
