Perfect food accompanying a perfect little cafe! Amazing throughout the experience!
The food isn't well presented, but the taste more than makes up for it!
Though if you don't like organ meat you'd want to be careful with what you order.

A perfect italian cafe in the heart of Karuizawa.
Good espresso (a bit on bitter side)

Open late which is a so fantastic and rare! The gelato was very fresh and perfect balance of sweet and creamy. Not too oily or sweet. The coffee selection was also so Italian! The macchiato was perfect and hot coffee also was brewed so delicious. The staff were also very friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs.

They have seats though, there is no table. Once you finish to eat, you should to go immediately because this shop is so tiny.

Absolutely delicious gelato and great coffee too. I had the choco mint, yogurt blueberry and the flavour with cherries. It was absolutely delicious. The choco mint flavour in particular tasted really natural like they had use mint freshly picked from the garden. It was cool to see them making the gelato in the cafe as well and the staff were really nice and told me about how they make the gelato. Great store!

A cute gelateria with only a few of tables offers great gelato. I’ll recommend pistachio flavor. Gotta try.

Amazing local gelateria, tastes almost like Italian gelato.

Two flavours change every season. When I went last it was Cappucino and Fragola (strawberry from Nagano prefecture).
Coffee and other drinks are also good -“real” expresso!

Better than perfect, have already feel in loove with pistachio, hazelnuts, vanilla lemon. definitely you should taste the pistachio. The boss was chef before then won 3 trophies in Italy, very kind and professional.

This is one of the best ice cream that you can find in Japan! Also the coffee is the real "espresso" and the service is excellent! Super advised!!!

Very cosy gelateria, serving very authentic gelato. Chocolate, Pistachio, Hazelnut, Blood Orange were all good 👍 bonus for playing a John Mayer playlist as well 🩵

We came here by chance and were pleasantly surprised.
The gelato actually reminded us of Italy (pistacchio, striacciatella and amarena) a nice contrast to all the Japanese soft ice and the Aperol soda was accompanied by chips - really authentic.
We can only recommend it.

Gelateria Gina is superb. The friendly owners are a husband and wife culinary team. He is an international award winning gelato creator, ands she is a talented Italian chef.

Gina has excellent wines from the Piemont including reds, whites, and sparkling wine. From 4PM to 6PM there is a fun Aperitivo time, like an Italian Happy Hour. Wines are regularly priced and an assortment of appetizers are available free of charge.

The gelato and sorbet flavors are rich and luxurious. The most popular flavor is pistachio and all of the flavors are excellent. Personally, my favorite is a double cup with café and chocolate.

The expresso drinks are also delightful.

If you're ever in Karuizawa, this is a venue you must visit if you enjoy gelato and smiles.

Famous for pistachio gelato, their other flavors are just as good. Highly recommended if you like ice cream.

Gina and her staff were very hospitable and provided great service, a great environment, and great gelato. The atmosphere of the shop when I arrived was lively and we were served quickly with a smile. I look forward to my next visit at Gelateria Gina!

Gelato’s so damn good I nearly cried having this especially after riding a bike all day. Have triple cone because every single flavor is worth it and why would you have gelato with no cone
