Very good 8 speed bicycle for a rental. Real joy to ride. Excellent service from shop and value for money. Tokyo Bike is a fantastic way to sight see and experience Tokyo.

I rented a bike to do the Kanda river ride. Great service and cheap rate compared to home prices (¥1500 at the time).
The bike was well maintained and clean. Lightweight and good gear ratio (8 speed).
The only downside is the saddle was a bit hard for me (I wasn't wearing padded pants).
The person at the store actually recommended a large size instead of the medium I booked. This worked well as the bike felt comfortable besides the saddle.
Would definitely recommend.

Their Rental Bikes are phenomenal!!!! Every thing ìs SUPER Smooth, the one I had is fairly priced and toned, light weight silver bullet!!! Before the trip I thought Ebike is the king, but the bike completely over turned my thought. It runs faster than Texi in big gear ratio

Best bikes we have rented in Japan! Worth the extra and they have an XL size! The all-day rental came with a small gift and an after-ride spicy ginger ale. We wish we did this not on our last day, because we'd definitely keep these bikes overnight and for another day (for only $1500 more!)

Super friendly and helpful staff, tasty cocktails and nice selection of snacks. We stopped in to take a break and plot the rest of our afternoon and got a great lunch recommendation (TAYORI - you must go!). Would happily return.

I brought my Tokyobike back from London and paid homage to this great shop. Wonderful traditional architecture (historical ex-sake shop) and friendly staff. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee or nice craft beer as well.

I’ve always wanted to visit a Tokyo bike shop in Japan cause I own a limited edition CS in London :) I was travelling in Tokyo for a week in the Summer 2017 and it was very memorable for me to see the traditional interior design(it’s more contemporary in London stores) and different/wider variety of products that you can’t find in London. The staff here are welcoming, polite and friendly. On top of that, they gave me advices on where to visit in Tokyo. Thank you so much!!

Phenomenal Experience. Great bike for a great price. On top of that the service was super friendly and the environment was very welcoming. I got a bike for a week and when I picked up the bike I was given a darling gift bag with maps, note pads and what not. When I brought the bike bike I was offered a free beer or ginger drink. Top notch service! I was blown away. I will rent here again or from the company in general being that I found out that they have locations all over the place. Thank guys! You were great!

Stumbled upon TokyoBikeShop's Shoreditch location in January 2014 and never thought I'd do the same in Tokyo. Established 10 years ago in an old sake store, the staff is friendly, the coffee great, the bikes and assorted products world class. Very neat store that also rents bikes out. Highly recommend.

Not only a great city bike that you can buy, but also the best bike rental shop in Tokyo!

For 3000 yen a day and 1500 yen for additional days, you can rent a really great bike to tour around Tokyo. That might seem a lot since you can get a standard rusty bike for 300 in most locations, but those bikes really are horrible and you can't reserve them. With Tokyo bike you can reserve your bike online, choose which size fits you best and what type of drive train you want. You then simply walk in to pick up your bike and they present you with a nice gift which includes a bag, maps and a travel booklet. Then you are free to roam Tokyo starting from one of the more cute neighborhoods in the north. Then when you return the bike, they offer you a nice beer or soda to chill out with at the bar in their showroom. It's really worth the costs and the staff are super nice and helpful.

The staff was very helpful and nice!! You can rent them for 3 hours or the whole day for a very good price. The bicycle are comfortable and have gears. I would definitely go again! Also, they speak good English

You can also rent bikes here. Either reserve online or pop in in person, 2500yen for a day, and 1500yen for days after that. Great neighbourhood to experience a different side to the bright, glass and steel covered Tokyo.

Has a great selection of bike and daily living accessories, and is located in one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Toyko. The inventory is primarily made up of local or regional brands/products versus international mass produced brands. The only "multi-national" I found was Knog. Definitely returning.
