Daiso in Japan has a reputation for stocking a fairly diverse list of items at very affordable prices. Originally, the equivalent to what we know as a "dollar store". And even if no longer that cheap, it still offers high quality. Their offerings range from housewares, tools, decorative items, beauty products, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and the list goes on. It's always a good idea to visit one of these stores, you will find either something for yourself, your home, or a giftable item for someone else.

Great place with a lot of useful but cheap stuff and a lot of unuseful stuff that you will be tempted to buy anyway because, hey, it's only 100¥.

I guess this is Japan's equivalent of Poundland in the UK, only the stock here is a thousand times better. There's a lot of very useful and convenient items that you can grab for your 100 yen; I usually tend to raid the stationary aisles when I visit; and it's good for stocking up on things you may have forgotten to bring with you.

Think of this more like Woolworths quality/variety than Poundland.

It's awesome and cheap store. You can buy all the staff for daily needs. I really like it.

Items are limited but at least very accessible to buy for everyday use. I reccommend Daiso in Kinsicho, wide and they almost have everything.
