夫婦で切り盛りしているようです。まるで被害者のように酷評するようのは御門違い。つくばうどんを食べた後に、土産屋の創業からの歴史や昔の調度品など詳しく教えて下さいました。味やサービスの良し悪しより、そんな話を聞くのも旅の醍醐味。

2年前に行ったときは、暗い店内にあるソファーで横になって寝ているおばあさんが切り盛りしていて、まだギリギリやってた感じでしたが、潰れたんですかね？
外国人の友人が、お母様へのお土産にカエルの小さな置物を買ったのですが、値段は間違えるわ、安い商品だから袋に入れないと言われ裸で渡されるわ、とても下品で意地悪なおばあさんでした。
