OK store @ Kawaguchi

Though all the items are listed in Japanese, with Google lens and a rough idea of what we want, it is easy to shop here as a foreigner. Loved the vibe of the place and the pleasant service by the store staff. Arigato Gozaimashita 🌸

PS: Coming from Seattle, I found it amusing to find Mt Rainier branded Cafe Latte here 🗻😅

Great selection and low prices but the membership is only worth it if you are paying with cash. They carry a decent selection of alcohol at some of the cheaper prices in the area. Recently updated their freezer section.

Best supermarket around the Kanto area.
A lot of fresh fish and best prices. I also buy avocados there.
Not best for fruits and vegetables, but best for fish and soy milk.
If you want to use shopping cart you need to insert a coin, and you’ll get it back once you put back the cart to its original position

Great selection of groceries. Best price and Supermarket chain imo. You should bring an eco bag they charge 6 yen a bag here.

A lot more variety compared to your average super market. The shopping trolleys are not free so you need to be strategic with your visits

オーケーさんはどちらも同じような造りなので、ほかのお店に行っても、また、初めてのお店であっても、あまり迷わずにお買い物ができます。
川口店さんはあったのは知っていたのですが、つい最近までは来る機会がありませんでした。
近所には、お値打ち価格のスーパーマーケットもありますので、比べて購入する事にします。
ただし、オーケーさんの方が駐車場の使い勝手が良さそうなので、此方を利用する事の方が多くなっております。

OKと言えば安さで有名だがお店で作る
食べ物も安い上に味も絶品。
ピザが美味しいのは有名だか、
お弁当、特にカツ丼はこれが350円
かと驚くトンカツの大きさと味です。

安いし商品の品揃えもいいと思います。薬品を取り扱ってるのは良いですね

調子に乗って連日のオーケーさん。
本日は川口駅西口すぐの川口店さんを訪問です。
川口店さんではカットピザが買えると調べてきたのですがGW中だからかな？
ホールピザのみでした。
それではと大人気商品の目玉焼きグリルハンバーグ弁当と本日は太巻二種を購入。
目玉焼きグリルハンバーグはハンバーグとデミグラスソースを楽しめるシンプルな作り。
合挽き肉と玉葱の肉々しい大きなハンバーグに自家製のデミグラスソースがたっぷり掛かっていて大満足の美味しさでした！
付合せのパスタまでご馳走にしてしまう絶品デミグラスソースです。
ごはんもふっくらパセリでお洒落していただいて目玉焼もちゃんと半熟でした。
昨日食べたお寿司が素晴らしかったので私は本日は太巻にチャレンジ。
具沢山海鮮太巻にはペースト状の鮪とサーモンにイカ、海老、玉子、胡瓜と彩りもよく具沢山です。
初めて食べるサーモンのペーストが凄く美味しくてお安い素材でボリューム満点にご馳走に仕上げてくださるのありがたいな〜。
ツナサラダ太巻も大好きな玉子焼きとお野菜いっぱいハーフサイズがあるのでいろいろ楽しめました。
今日も手抜きさせていただけて気持ちのゆとりもありがとうございました。

本当に他店価格をチェックしてる！
他のオーケーストアよりも、更に安い商品あり。
ある意味、競合店が多いからこその価格設定。
他店徹底対抗のNB商品は、やはりオーケーさんには勝てない。
青果、生鮮はまだ他店の方が安い場合あり。
