時計店を営みながら、旧鳳来町の郷土玩具、徳川家康公伝承の寅童子を奥様と娘さんで作ってみえます。

ご主人は黙々と古い時計を修理し、復活させます。火縄銃のレプリカも制作、販売してみえます。

寅童子は一つ一つの工程を手作業でされています。一時期は途絶えていましたが、見事に復活🎵
手作りなので、顔の表情も様々。同じようで同じではなく、どの寅童子も味わいがあります。

情報誌「BRUTUS」に掲載されたり、和菓子の「虎屋」から注文が入ったりしたそうです。
昨年は、無印良品から商談があり、来年の福缶に寅童子も入ってくるみたい。

取材も多い中、ご家族それぞれがひたむきにもの作りと向き合ってみえます。

古いゼンマイ式時計も百近くあるので必見です。
