My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this small family owned sake shop while walking around Asakusa last year. The family were so nice and helpful, we ended up making our way back here again this year and they ended up remembering us. Last year, we did a quick sake tasting and bought a bottle with us back home. This year, we brought a couple friends with us. They bought 2 and we bought 3.

The daughter gave us really good recommendations the first time, so we trust that she will always offer something we will enjoy. She was really good at explaining each sake to us and if she was not able to answer a question, her father was there to help. After we purchased our bottle, the mom was kind enough to wrap our bottles with cold packs to keep them cool on our flight back home.

Excellent sake shop, with a lot of choices and a very friendly owner. He recommended us a few sakes and gave us little samples to taste. He was very patient and helpful. If you don't know much about sake and need some help to find what you like, this shop is a great choice. We bought three bottles and the owner gave us a small bottle and two sake glasses as a present!

A wonderful shop run by an absolutely lovely family. We went in for a tasting (and a bit of shopping) and could not have been more delighted. Once they learned our tastes and inclinations, they offered suggestions and opened new bottles for us to sample. We didn’t want to leave, but left with a handful of tasty selections to share with friends back home.

Great sake store! We stopped by to do the sake tasting. The tasting includes 3 sakes. The host was great and showed us three very different sakes for us to try. She even explained where they were from and what the tasting notes were in English. Enjoyed our time here and ended up purchasing our favorite sake from the tasting to bring back to the states because it was that good!

My wife and I stumbled on this place while on our honeymoon and we had an amazing and thoughtfully curated sake tasting. They took the time to explain each one and included a good mix of dry, sweet, etc. Everyone was so friendly and the sake was so good that we bought a bottle to go. We would definitely recommend the flight tasting to others. It was a highlight of our trip. Thank you!!

Sake tasting for 1000yen. The owner is so very kind with great knowlege of Sake. The shop is warmly decorated and variety of Japanese Sake. For non drinker, Sweet Sake (Amazake) is a must try. I love this spot so much and hope many people experience the best.

Sake bar on 2F, delightful! I tried the yuzu cocktail and the girlfriend tried the mikan one both were really good!

Amazing sake tasting experience from a family run store. Wonderful English - must do for sake tasting and even wrapped to take home in luggage.

Ran into this place by coincidence, love the atmosphere. The owner spoke some English and trying his best to recommend sake that meets our need. You can really feel the Japanese hospitality. We bought a lovely cup set that was hand made by his wife. Truly a highlight of our trip.

Maybe the best retail experience I had during my time in Japan. Everywhere I went i saw warmth, generosity and a willingness to help, and this store goes above and beyond all of that.

Had a lovely time sitting out the front in the shade tasting several different sakes. The host was wonderful at explaining the different varieties and it was an all around delightful experience.

Wonderful sake shop in a quiet street in Kappabashi (Kitchen Town). Come taste and find your favorite sake with the help of someone who clearly knows what it’s all about!
