Doryeongassi Gyeongbokgung Palace Hanbok Rental

Very beautiful and a "must visit" in Seoul. Rent a dress (for girls/women) or a costume (for boys/men) first for better experience and amazing pictures! Many shops across the street rent them. You can rent clothing for a day or for a few hours. We got a dress for 3 hours for 30.000 won which is less than 30€ or 30$. Worth it! 😊

Absolutely loved this place! They were so kind, and helpful! So I didn't make any reservations for me and my boyfriend, but they were totally ok with it. We picked my boyfriend's hanbok first, then based on the color he chose, they helped me pick mine. The staff helped us put it on, and we were given a locker free of charge to store our things away. Then we picked accessories, and were charged separately for those. If you have long hair, I think they have the ability to braid your hair, but I have short hair so I went with nothing.
Gyeongbokgung is close by, and is free for those who wear hanbok. We obviously went and took really nice photos. It was very obvious that our hanbok looked authentic and great quality compared to others. I mean, at least as a Korean, I was very much interested in getting great quality that didn't look like a cheap costume, and this place was a great pick! I could not recommend this place enough for everyone!!!

I went to a hanbok rental store to try on a korean traditional dress. Staffs were so friendly and helpful! We were able to pick out a hanbok that we really liked! I reserved a hanbok rental through Instagram and received several benefits. My SO hairstyle turned out perfect too! Highly recommended!

The owner was kind and assisted well to select the Hanbok that I like. If you book in advance they will give you extra time for the hiring.
She also provide a hair service to make cute traditional piggy tale for free of charge.
If you ask, you can hire Gat (the male hat) too.
