Homi Art Shop

Good price for Korean brand, not very good for imported brand. I got a box set of Winsor and Newton for about 300NTD(13000₩) higher.

American artist in Korea - this seems to be one of the only art shops in all of Seoul. The store is surprisingly large and the staff was present and helpful. They had all the familiar brands as a U.S. art shop would like Jerry’s. Prices were fine, maybe a little high, but there is literally no where else to buy paint so I’ll take it. It’s about a ten minute walk from the 홍대 subway station, easy to find.

I came here with my former Korean colleague, she need to buy some supplies for her art class. This art shop is very famous for both Koreans and foreigners, I saw some foreigners when I was inside the shop too. They have a lot of staffs around to help customers finding their needed. Some products don’t have price on it but they have scanner for checking price at some points.

The English brand paints are, of course expensive here. Great place for getting Korean and Japanese paints (I came for the acrylic gouache) and paint brushes. Slim pickings on heavyweight watercolour paper in spiralbound pads.
Upstairs is a separate section for hand made papers etc. You cannot take bags up there.

A paradise for artists, art lovers, art enthusiasts, art supply hoarders. This place was in my checklist in seoul. A huge art store with every kind of art supplies under one roof. Lots of local as well as foreign brands available. I went there especially for sculpture and pottery tools and there was a large variety but most of the tools were made in china stuffs which was disappointing for me. For everything this place will leave anyone spoilt for choices

The best art supply shop I've ever visited. I've been a working artist for 20 years and love browsing art supply shops wherever I find myself. This place is the best by far. Every medium you could imagine with multiple options available.

Opened in 1975, Homi Art Shop is one of the well-known art supplies store in Hongdae. Stocked with over 40,000 art supplies, Homi Art Shop is also very popular among foreigners. Their website is developed and operated by a foreign fan of the shop.

This is the best art supply store in the famed Hongdae artist area. I bought special Korean watercolor brushes for my daughter :)

True blue poison for art lovers… loads of interesting stuff here for various mediums. It is tourist friendly too (products and prices well labeled, can use Google translate…but staffs have limited English) and and tax rebate can be claimed at the airport upon departure.

A wonderful store with an exhaustive collection or every possible supply one might need. I only dropped by in search for a sketchbook and some ink, but i caught myself walking through the isles wondering if I don't might need some more chalk or oil paints. Lovely store.

This is one of the best art supply stores I have ever been too. They have a fantastically large range of supplies for all different kinds of art, and if you're an artist it's like being a kid in a candy store. The staff are friendly and helpful, and you'll be able to find whatever you need.

This place has everything I ever need. I get overwhelmed by the endless selection. It's great.

Complete store for painting, art and craft, and architect

Many kinds of high quality products here. Especially diverse range of watercolour, gouache and acrylic paints.

Very nice selection of art supplies. The first floor has a mix of everything from oil paints, watercolors, acrylics, model paints, brushes, etc. The second floor has canvas and paper. Very helpful staff and reasonable prices.

I went here accidentally a few years back while wandering emptier areas of Hongdae. It is a paradise of supplies/tools to create and expert advice.

This is one is huge place for arts and crafts! You'll definitely get a hard time to choose what to buy as they are just too pretty and cute. Very good place to get some gifts for kids to learn some arts.

Can get a bit crowded because it s near the uni and a popular spot. It s worth it though. I only wish they did framing there

Large variety of art supplies of any kind. Reasonable prices, can do a tax refund for tourists.
