I met Dr. Amila Gomis, by chance when I had a nagging pain in my teeth and he advised me that extraction of these 2 problematic teeth was the only option for me. Being a stroke survivor myself, I believe that one should be very comfortable and confident with one's Dr. and from the second I met this Doctor I was both confident and comfortable with him very much like a friend and his professional approach in doing my extractions with minimum pain explaining each procedure every stepalong the way along with the help of his caring and courteous staff.
I won't hesitate to recommend this lovely clinic and wonderful Dental surgeon to anyone who needs work on their teeth from the simplest to more complicated procedures.

I went here yesterday to get my wisdom tooth removed. I found here from google reviews. When I went there, I realized that everything said in those reviews was true. The people there are unbelievably nice, including Doctor Amila and his wife.
I went there with my 4-month-old baby & toddler. The doctor's wife had helped my mother to take care of them until I finished my work. She was even kind enough to hold my little baby and put him to sleep. I want to thanks them again about there unbelievable kindness and care towards their patients. Can’t believe a place like this exists in Sri-Lanka. Very reasonable prices and high quality service!!!

Dr. Amila Gomis is the best dentist we've ever encountered in Sri Lanka. He's a true professional with a warm and friendly demeanor. My wife was struggling with both a problematic wisdom tooth and a cavity. Dr. Gomis expertly performed a surgery on the same day, removing both teeth painlessly. Her recovery was remarkably swift, a testament to his skill and care.

I went in to get my wisdom tooth removed. Since it’s in the bottom jaw it’s not a simple procedure.
Dr Amila was amazing. He just had a casual conversation while I was on the chair. I noticed him injecting the anesthesia but, once that was over few mins of conversation and he’s showing me my own tooth. Simply magic. My tooth was rooted to the side and I had an open wound which had to be cleaned.

Never thought I’d enjoy a trip to the dentist as much as I did here. The doctor’s extremely friendly and explained the process and how to prevent tooth decay. I almost forgot about the pain due to the doctor engaging in conversation throughout. Highly recommend this.

Six months ago I was in SL for a couple of weeks, Dr Amila did a pretty impressive job with completely restoring my teeth. Did multiple work and my teeth have never felt better. I’ve been to many dentists before but Dr Amila is truly a master at its best. He makes sure to explain procedures very clearly, check on your pain tolerance while on job and have a good attack plan so you won’t be left disappointed or half done. The team is very friendly, and lenient when you want to make an appointment. This place is a gem!

I visited Dr Gomis for a dental checkup, hygienist appointment and a filling.

As a foreigner visiting Sri Lanka on holiday, I was a little nervous about receiving medical care outside of my home country. Arriving at the clinic, my concerns were immediately put at ease. Dr Gomis and his staff are all very kind and professional. The care provided by Dr Gomis was great, explaining the procedures every step of the way, and giving advice on how to best care for my teeth.

If you are a tourist in Sri Lanka considering having dental work completed whilst in Sri Lanka, this is the place to go. The level of care provided was unparalleled, and at a fraction of the cost compared to home (UK).

After years of searching, I found a great family dentist for our family. Dr Amila Gomis is very knowledgeable and pleasure to work with. My mother was so worried about doing even the basic dental work and Dr. Gomis put all her worries at ease during the first session. After the first session my mother couldn't wait to go back again so that she can correct all the issues occurred over the years as a result of avoiding dentists all together!
