Cargills Food City - Mirissa

After living in Mirissa for 2 months I just can say that all the employees here are the friendliest people around, they always greet you with a smile, if you don't find something they look for it and let you know if they have it available or not, or when is going to be available. The lady in the pharmacy is just the nicest person in that store and if she is not at her place she is always helping her coworkers. I think the general manager even served me fresh prawns one time because everyone was bussy and he didn't wanted us to wait. The products here are always fresh, prices are labeled most of the time, or you can ask to any of the cashiers, they always have a lot of discounts and a lot of different products.

Great place to pick up snacks and drinks. Fixed prices which is an absolute godsend as is being able to pay with a card.

Good range of cosmetics and hair care products.

On the main road, parking, disabled access, easy to find.

A very nice place to hang on. Enjoyed the ice creams very much. They have a very good stock and a huge range of quality products.

A very good store with friendly staff! A wide range of products and reasonable prices. You won't be deceived here, unlike other stores in the vicinity where prices are made up, and they always try to deceive you.

Plenty of good items to buy here and lots of off-street parking which makes it very convenient.

They have good air con. People can take a rest and walk inside when it's a very hot day.

A good store to pick some fresh fruits and beverage for travellers.

Only supermarket at Mirissa. Every time crowded supermarket, especially more tourists visit every time. There is a very large car 🚗 park available.

Superb customer service in any language. You’ll be never disappointed if you came anywhere from the world. You’ll be able to fine most of your needs under one roof here. Located past the Mirissa junction if you are coming from the galle. Place is close to the wine store and food city also have a wine store itself.
