Lovely lunch in a dog friendly restaurant by the river. Great staff and service and the food was fantastic and not expensive. I had the salad with fish fillets which was massively under selling it. 3 types of fish and 2 different kinds of prawns.

This is a beautiful and a strategic hotel if you wish to visit the vianden castle, only four minutes drive to the castle with some rooms facing the castle. Very friendly staff and the restaurant is ideal serves a generous portions.

It's probably fair to say that everything that they say on their website about this hotel is true. We loved it. We were given a room with a balcony (the one with flags) and a nice view of the intersecting town streets, river and bridge. Room was clean and cozy warm. Great WiFi. Restaurant really nice and a great continental breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Personally I would have liked the restaurant menu to include options that were a little simpler, because fine dining is not something you want all the time. However, that's just a personal choice. Free parking is not provided by the hotel. You either pay for it and renew every 3 hours or you look for street parking. To drop bags in hotel, it's best to park in the Victor Hugo undercover (paid) parking (note that it is a "one way" route) and get a free courtesy ticket valid for 20 minutes. There is free parking on the other side of the river if available when you have dropped your bags. Enjoy your stay 😃

One of the best places I've eaten! l'Escargot were amazing and my Duck was cooked perfectly! This combined with our hilarious but very attentive waiter made our night special! We hope to return one day!🏍🇱🇺😁

Great food, the cauliflower soup velouté was soft and velevety, the cod with lemon sauce was divine. Welcoming bar with attentive, friendly staff.

Good classic but but well prepared food. Enjoyed the local specials and the kids chicken nuggets were one of the best ever tasted. The garden terrace provides a relaxing environment and friendly staff made it a good experience overall. Can recommend for dinner!

The restaurant is superb. The warm goat cheese salad is what dreams are made of, and the salmon carpaccio is so fresh. Absolutely delicious.

Great service & choices in menu. The garden terrace is very cozy. A young, hardworking men served us. This was one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Vianden, mainly because of the service. They made us feel welcome. Recommended!

We love this restaurant ! The Gaston was so kind and knowledgeable they made our visits so special. Curry mussels were a hit for us and the desert crème brûlée was awesome.

We booked this place because of the sauna but we got much more. The people here are very friendly. We especially liked that the lady at the front desk could also speak Dutch and Hugo and Giovanni who work primarily in the restaurant where very accommodating. The breakfast was pretty good with eggs, different bread options, croissants, yoghurt, fruit... and the restaurant serves AMAZING food which will leave you satisfied and full. For the sauna you just have to ask about 30-60min before you want to use it if they can turn it on (we called while we were out to ask this) and then it will stay on for about two hours. Only downside is that you can't use it late at night. If for some reason, you don't want the cleaning personnel to come in, they will leave fresh towels at your door. I would definitely recommend this place to spend the night or just to come for lunch or dinner.

We had coffee here before the gondola opened. The coffee wad delicious! Also, the wait staff was super friendly. Would definitely reccomend. Next time, we may opt to stay in the hotel and see how it is.

Was our second time in this hotel and the same room. We had a great memory from our last stay and this was just as memorable. The view from the balcony is just great.

I keep dreaming of this place. Sitting at the little table outside nibbling on escargot, sipping a beer, feeling the breeze. We had several meals at this restaurant which still are etched in my memory. To date... the best escargot in the world, an absolutely amazing warm got salad, roasted lamb, it was all amazing. I'm counting the days until I get to return.

A group of us stopped here for a midday meal in the rear gardens of the Hotel and we all thoroughly recommend it as a food stop. The staff are friendly, polite and multi lingual prices reasonable and the town is well worth a visit.
