Lovely picturesque hotel in the middle of a historic town. Very idyllic location and decorated in a nice manner. Triple glazed windows means all of the sound outside can be blocked out at will. Extremely friendly staff and a place to store bikes or motorcycles. The room was a tad on the small side, absolutely no problem for a couple though.

Absolutely awesome! Cannot say enough about how helpful and friendly everyone was. If you are driving, call or email ahead to reserve a parking spot. Clean, comfortable rooms. GREAT breakfast! Highly recommend!

Hotel/room very clean. Staff very helpful. Room and bathroom a little small for the price. There was only ONE electric socket in the room hidden for guests - had to kneel down on the floor as it was hard to get at tucked right underneath a bedside telephone table (and only one other in the room was almost at ceiling height and used for the TV), so bring some sort of multi-way adapter that you can then plug into an EU socket (e.g. 4-way UK gang and a EU-to-UK adapter) if you need to run more than one electrical item (e.g. charging more than one phone). No fan in the room if you like that sort of thing, so again, bring one. No kettle either, though I think they rent them out (which I found a little bizarre as even the cheapest hotels I've stayed in have kettles). If you have a lot of luggage and/or stuff you don't want to leave in your car overnight, ask for a room on a lower floor, although there is a lift (though it only takes 2 people and was half being used by a cleaner to move laundry around when we arrived mid afternoon and I can imagine gets busy at checkout time in the morning). Didn't have their breakfast but others did. The bakery in the town (a few doors downhill) doesn't open Mondays so think ahead if you need bakery stuff. If you're bringing a car, I recommend booking one of the hotel's car parking spaces - there are about 7 or 8 (for 16 Euros per night - that was in August 2023 - you book by sending an email) which are at the rear of the building as the streets are very narrow and car parking spaces are few in the town (and time limited during daytime hours from what I could see which may prove a problem if you need to park your car in town during the day - I think they are free overnight from something like 6pm to 8am). So, yes, I would quite happily recommend a stay here with the advice/caveats above about electrical sockets and reserving car parking.

A very good hotel with very friendly staff.
A very nice and comfortable room with balcony.
Breakfast is perfect.
And important..Vianden in Luxemburg lies on the border with Germany with beautiful surroudings. The Eifel !

Nice and friendly staff. Clean rooms and cool enough even during heat waves. Nice breakfast with delicious ham! Beautiful garden and interior. If we ever visit Vianden again we would definitely choose this hotel again.

We stayed here many years ago (mid 1980’s).
There was a lovely older lady there that kept addressing me as “my lady.”
I’m sure she has passed. But it was a lovely experience.

This is a lovely, traditional and quaint guesthouse/small hotel right in the centre of the town. Comfortable rooms, very helpful staff and a lovely breakfast. The perfect spot for a short stay in Vianden, which itself is a gorgeous town. The castle is well worth a visit, with a really interesting self guided tour option.

Clean and cosy room, very nice hosts and great service! I appreciated the care they had for people, by serving breakfast at the table, as a measure to reinforce the social distancing and limit any risk in the pandemic context. Needless to say, the vintage decor is beautifully set up while the view from the balcony on the interior garden and the surrounding nature - something everybody would enjoy. I would come back any time and definitely recommend this hotel!

I loved this quaint, family-run hotel. The service was very friendly and warm and the rooms were immaculately clean. They gave great tips on what to do in the area, which made the trip extra special. They adhere to COVID-19 regulations very well, so I felt safe while I was there.

I also loved that the church and beautiful cloister are right next door. The hotel itself is also a beautiful building, with charming interior decor.

Quirky but comfy hotel situated in the centre of Vianden, just up from the bridge. The hallways are full of unusual items making the walk down to breakfast like a walk through a museum. Nice quiet location with secure garage parking for motorcycles which was welcome.

This find was the best part of our vacation. Beautiful well maintained historic family owned and operated. I must say, everything was perfect from the service to room to food. We have been to 4 and 5 star hotels that were not as nice and enjoyable.
