Chateau d'Urspelt

Beautiful Château hotel in a lovely peaceful location. We were lucky with the weather in early June and were able to use the lovely outdoor pool. Dinner was superb and our room was extremely comfortable with a view over the countryside. What made it for us was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff.

I stayed here for three days with my friend.
I like the environment here , surrounded by forest and peacefully located on a hill.
I love the restaurant staff here ,they always have a warm smile in the morning .
I like the room ,clean and bathroom with plenty of pressure and water .

It is a place where you can relax and recharge yourself .

We only visited the spa for a few hours. The whole experience was fantastic. Great massage, jacuzzi and then the spa room for the sauna and Red Cave.

Castle escape for new years eve: the best of everything. I enjoyed the NUXE products. Cave pool of course the highlight, we made great photos, but steam room is still my favorite. I like them being generous and providing free tea at the resting area.
Perfect for couples; definitely romantic and luxurious. They have a very cool jazz bar, so you don't need to search for "bars nearby".

Perfect getaway for a romantic time. If you like hiking its a big + cause the surroundings are beautiful. Besides that there is not much to do so I would recommend 1-3 days max. The food was good, the spa was great! The rooms are well decorated and cozy, but a little noisy (you can hear your neighbours). All in all, 4.5 rating seems reasonable.

A great experience. Relaxing atmosphere and very nice rooms. Very comfortable bed and classy restaurant. The SPA is certainly the best part and apple juice at breakfast.
Service is really good at all levels. Though, I just would like to share a little detail that annoyed me, and I wish it didn't happen to other customers. One of the ladies at the lobby talked to me while working on her screen. She didn't look at me, not even for a second. Not that I find this unprofessional, but it's so impolite and rude. I felt like her screen had much more importance than myself, a customer who had questions before checking out. I hope this lady doesn't behave like that with all customers because it's not match the high standards of the place. Not just professionalism matters, but politeness does!
Overall, it was a great experience except this small incident.

So much fun at the Chateau! The hotel has been beautifully renovated and designed for a relaxing getaway. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious (and lengthy, which we enjoyed) with incredibly friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and opulent. I only wish we stayed two nights instead of one!

Reception check in was very fast and the receptionist was sympathic.

Restaurant was amazing.

The experience was great. The atmosphere is always elegant and confortable. The food was very tasty and the wine they recommended us was excellent and matched well with the food.

The rooms are well designed and spacious. You have the option for a room with open bathroom.
Also, the grotto themed Spa is a must see!
We had a very good three course dinner included and a full breakfast buffet.
We loved it!

The easiest way to book is through their website or by phone call as they offer different packages for couples. Those packages seem not to be available on third party websites.

Gorgeous château transformed into hotel spa 😍 perfect for a girls gettaway weekend, or celebrating a wedding! Food is exceptional, service kind and friendly. Definitely visiting again!

The food is wonderful, the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and nicely decorated (not too big). dinner was wonderful and the pool is very nice, highly recommended it!

Get there early! Food was really good! I say this as a very picky eater when it comes to restaurants as we are used to delicious Italian food and good seafood. We chose the seafood dish and were not disappointed. Staff was very friendly and gave us free hot wine to sit next to the romantic fireplace. Rooms were meh, but in pandemic times, we were lucky to get out of our house and get a spa session to ourselves and will not complain!:)

It was a beautiful little trip. The staff is so nice and helpful. The room was clean and the table already set in the room. Our dinner and breakfast were served in the room due to Covid restrictions. Everything was perfect. The menu we chose before our arrival was delicious. We had tapas and a glass of champagne in the afternoon on the terrace which closed at 18.00 due to Covid restrictions. Again the staff was really nice. A beautiful place to stay. 🌹👌🌹
The only unpleasant note is that there are always people who are slamming their room doors.

Room was beautiful. We used the in room dining experience and took a vegan option was was delicious. Also used the spa. My only negative is the spa was crowded and people sat around had no masks so we left straight after the treatments but apart from that it was perfect

Very nice place. The hotel is awesome, clean, rooms are well decorated. One things rare in Luxembourg, they have a pool. The staff is nice and helpful. Restaurant is fine and quality/price ratio is good. However, big effort has to be made on the breakfast, not up to the rest of the services.

Very nice stay, excellent room (superior) with big and cozy bed.
Appreciated the bathtub in the room, though it may not be for everyone (the curtain hides little to nothing). Perfect for a couples weekend.

We’ve visited chateau d’Urspelt last weekend. The facilities were very nice, the staff was friendly and we booked the spa which made our stay very relaxing.

Very very good, nice present at the room for my wife’s birthday. Also with the desert in the restaurant fireworks, So cool! We loved everything 🤩
