A one of a kind bookstore, as very few see, a real nugget in Tangier, a really unusual place that is really worth a visit when you are in or go through Tangier.
It is also an art gallery and there are little wonders, and there are always new things. plus one can attend some interesting events held inside.

Les Insolites is an absolute gem of a bookshop nestled in the bustling medina streets of Tangier. Even if you don't speak French or Arabic, the friendly staff are happy to help you find something of interest. If you're a book lover visiting Tangier, this place is an unmissable gem that will leave you with fond memories long after your trip. I can't recommend it highly enough - it totally deserves 5 stars.

Lovely book shop, mainly French books but also English and other languages. Also, a nice range of gift ideas, posters, cards, bookmarks, and Art. Really worth a visit, lots of books on Tanger nice for a souvenir.

Wow, it is WOW! I accidentally saw it near my apartment and couldn’t go through. Very stylish and attractive shop window with aesthetic and interesting filling inside. They have great choice of books, especially I was pleased with books related to Morocco and happily bought one.

Great one of a kind book store and gallery. Fabulous choice of books, but also local artist’s work - photos, posters, postcards…
Young man working there was not only extremley helpful recommending contemporary Moroccan writer’s books but also with general advices about the town and country. Loved it!

Beautiful store and a nice place to get out of the hussle and bustle of the street. Good collection of French books (some had English translations in them). We found some lovely coffee table books (about Morocco) that are worth a look at. The lady was sweet but didn't follow us around - just let us know she was there if we needed help finding something (much appreciated).

Wonderful bookshop in Tanger. Great selection, beautiful place and very professional people working there.
Abs there are also a few tables outside where you can enjoy a coffee I've got picked up a few books.

The best bookshop for art albums in Tangier

A well stocked, aesthetically pleasing bookstore with helpful staff. We found some gorgeous limited edition children’s books and enjoyed looking at the collection of vintage postcards.

Well organised and makes you want to purchase all the books they have,one of the best bookshops in tangier, visited it back in 2019 during my stay in tangier.

Absolutely fascinating selection of books in French and in English. They also serve great coffee.

It' a likely Island among the beautiful Chaos of Tangier. You can find interesting books of different literatures and exhibitions are hosted in this Place.

J'ai pris ce album of the belle stars malgré que je les connais pas ms comme un souvenir de tanger pourtant la fille là-bas est très gentille🤍

Une librairie unique en son genre, comme en voit très peu, une vrai pépite sur Tanger, un lieu vraiment insolite qui vaut vraiment le détour quand on est ou on passe par Tanger.
C’est aussi une galerie d’art et on y trouve des petites merveilles, et y a toujours des nouveautés

Charmante librairie, belle sélection de livres, bon accueil! A recommander avec la librairie « les colonnes » également très bien!
Juste à côté un joli antiquaire et en face belle galerie de peinture!
