Ramanofana Arboritum

If you are into plants and especially like palms , bananas and citrus then this is a must visit. The palms are rare and mostly endemic. A great place to see them while not hanging from a cliff or standing in a swamp.

The bananas are displayed and labeled so you can see how they grow and how large the mature plants get. Helpful for planning your tropical garden.

The Citrus are displayed much like the bananas. These are not in test plots but in a park like setting. It is a nice collection that again helps you plan your future garden.

Many other plants to see all are displayed
with good signage, Latin name and the description in French, English and Malagasy.

This is a must if you are visiting Ranomafana. They have several endemic Palm species and other interesting trees. It's a very special place 100% recommended
