Hotel y Club de Golf Avándaro

Long time since I visited the hotel (maybe 15 years) and had a pleasant surprise. Rooms are remodeled, elegant, and highly recommended for a weekday or weekend. We used the hotel for a offsite meeting and service throughout 3 days of work were great.

Awesome and pleasant everything!

When I come back to Valle de Bravo, a spa day at this golf course is a MUST DO. Two friends and I bought a package and enjoyed using the hot tub/cold tub, sauna, steam room, and the massages were wonderful. Highly recommend spending a few hours at the spa here!

We had a great time. Came for only two nights but were enough to enjoy the Spa and the lovely facilities. People were very friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Within walking distance to Cascada de Velo de Novia, this is a perfect place to relax, recharge and be in touch with nature.

Very nice location a bit of a drive to get into but full security with two check points. Breakfast was good The staff was good.

I've been reading the reviews carefully... very carefully but I decided to go there no matter what.

First of all, it's not so expensive like many people said. It's a real 5 stars hotel, the rooms are great, staff is friendly and efficient. I also tried the restaurant and I can say it's mostly gourmet, so it's not true that you pay an expensive bill for normal food.

The view from the room was amazing, installations are great. Internet failed mostly all the time but having an 4G LTE plan on my phone I didn't really needed their WiFi. The gas fireplace was easy to understand and was working perfectly, the Nespresso coffee maker was there but coffee pods were missing the first day, the included-in-the-price breakfast was great, especially the one of Sunday.

The room service is incredibly fast, they delivery whatever you want from the restaurant in just few minutes. They also bring the terminal in case you want to pay with your credit/debit card.

The view from my suite premium (510) was amazing, I was able to see the entire golf course, however the parking was not exactly near the door. TV was just SD, no HD.

Restrooms are great, hot water take time to arrive but they do advertise that it take around 3 minutes to warm.

All in all, was a great experience, I found the place really nice. I'll return there for sure however I do have some complaints:

1) The price paid is not the one advertised in websites like Expedia or Booking. I ended up paying around 1.000 pesos more than what advertised on said sites;

2) With bad weather the place is good only if you agree on sleeping, eating and watching TV;

3) The "Kids" area is scarce, and the staff that is supposed to take care of them said they didn't wanted to take care of them;

4) Although there is a "no pet" policy, people bring pets. Probably were residents.

Anyway, You'll love it!

We did our company retreat here. The property is very beautiful and well maintained. There is a great spa, gym and yoga room as well as locker rooms with a Jacuzzi. Staff is really helpful and the service pretty good as well.

It's a very comfortable and cozy place to spend time with your family. It's pricy but in my opinion, worth it.
